    Great items to stock!

I have the shift springs and its a fantastic mod, I'd recommend it to anybody. I fancy one of those Gearknobs too.

I have the Eibach/SPC lower control arms, they are a no frills, inexpensive option. The reason I went for them is that they use a bush on the subframe end and the camber is adjusted by an eccentric bolt at the other end, there are no rose joints and threaded stud to corrode and wear (I dont like fitting exposed rose joints to a road car, they simply don't last)

Easy and effective, wouldn't bother going back to a clay bar.

The reason you are struggling for an answer is because your question is a bit vague. There isn't really an ideal range as such, it's personally preference. Depending on how concerned you are, just aim to keep it in line with the stock wheel weight (9.1kg) and consider anything lighter as a bonus.

Ignoring the cynics who believe age adds validity to their point of view, I'd probably opt for of Nokians, they seem well received and offer good consistent performance (even if they aren't all out the grippiest tyres). Once I've managed to kill my Primacy's I'll be trying something from their product line.

Every exhaust thread that pops up at least one person recommends a Milltek despite all the quality issues, I don't get it? @Collateral Avoid that trash, don't buy a Milltek.
Stick to a resonated option as they quieter and less droney. Future proof yourself too, if you are considering freeing up other sections of the exhaust then you will need a quiet cat back to keep the noise levels in check as these cars quickly get loud when you change out other exhaust components. However If you aren't then there is less emphasis on having one of the quiet systems. Cobra, Perrin, Blitz, Greddy all have good options which aren't too loud, the invidia Q300 is another good option but it is very quiet if left as a catback only mod.

More important things to sort on the car first tbh and it will cost me as my warranty is by no means in tact! Eventually when I get some time to lug it to Toyota I will.

For servicing the only place I'd consider going to is Abbey Motorsports in Oxted. Can't comment on dealers as the only dealings I've had were with the Canterbury branch for my test drive, they were pretty lousy (blunt, disinterested, knew nothing about the car).

The most effective way to prevent the fallout from doing any harm to your paintwork is to simply hose off the dust as and when, unless the car is genuinely dirty then don't even bother washing it. Trying to pick it up with a wash mitt/sponge/cloth will just increase the risk of scratching your paint as that stuff will be really abrasive, let the water collect it up and drag it off for you. If your car has a good coating of wax/sealant which is pretty hydrophobic the dirty water will just fall off leaving the car clean anyway.
The thing I'd be worried about is the traffic, my 86 has been a victim twice due to idiotic drivers hitting it. The only way you are going to reduce the risk of your car getting dinged is to park it away from the area completely, or at least avoid being near any corners and tuck it as far off the road as you can.

Ade do you intend to stick with just a cat back? As that would be a big influence on your decision. As you are probably already aware freeing up other sections of the exhaust can make this car get A LOT louder, if this is the case and you're going to change out other sections I wouldn't consider anything other than the Q300 or a Greddy SP Elite tbh.

Varelco got a reaction from Ade in Spacers Temporarily Needed
Slip on spacers are ok as long as you have enough available thread. For M12x1.25 studs the minimum is 8 turns.
One disadvantage with slip on spacers (primarily thin ones) is they aren't hub centric, which will mean the weight of the car is taken by the studs and not the hub.
