I find it depends how you bed them in i think, give them death on the bedding in process and mine were quiet I had no noise issues like you describe.
Tends to only be an issue if one set of pads are bad for leaving deposits. I have no real experience of doing this though as i am hella lazy

Ah reminds me of when I got mine. (Same spec but orange). Welcome to the club. For me I really like the interior updates on the My17. 

To be honest the KWs were on the car when I got it and that’s the way JRM installed them, so I’ve left them like that, I don’t think it should make any difference really so I don’t think your missing a trick :-)

Yeah, the B48 definitely won't fit where the FA24 does without a lot of work. Also fitting a BMW lump into a Subaru chassis seems a bit of a jump.

I had a call from the dealer I purchsed my GT86 from to say they had a demo car. But as delivery is now june 2021 told him I'd wait to see what the next 86 is like.
He informed me that it was getting the 2,0 engine from the Supra

I found the best way to solve this was to get back there and do the car wow tap test. Then I folded and stuffed wedges of upholstery foam. You can use a cut up t shirt for testing purposes. They’re are loads of access holes to stuff foam into so I don’t think it’s necessary to remove but easy enough if you want to. My rattle noise was coming from the play in the clips that hold it down, so bolstering it with foam worked really well.

I think a car receives the highest praise when you come away wanting to see what more it can do besides pile on speed.

I’m surprised you’re  not backing it off the transporter yourself and heading for the nearest rally stage. 

After reading this I finally bought one for mine. It’s amazing how fresh and updated the inside of the car feels when you get rid of the standard yellow/white light for the bright white. I can find all my stuff now when getting in and out of the car. 

They've been testing a properly hardcore version of the Yaris round the 'Ring so presumably the GRMN label will be applied to that one if they choose to release it.

I like the new exterior, its grown on me over the last few days.  But its that dash it feels dated before its even out and really does remind me a of an early 2000's MR2.

It will be yes. They are in the mist of launching the second car in the GR Brand, namely the GR Yaris, so would expect that to need to be out of the way first before they talk about the third car in the line up. 

I like the way it drives so unless thats better I have just lost interest! Dash is awful!

Personally I quite like red, although the white mates the lines and features more prominent.

Only bit of styling I am not 100% on is the rear wheel arch flares but I reckon its probably something that looks a lot better in person. The rest of the looks especially the front is

That's red, or Scarlet Flare. I'm not a fan of that colour, though many seem to love it. Thankfully they are not selling it in orange. 😂 GR colours only of course.
Everyone seems to love it if you read/watch all the reviews. EVO 5 star car? Yes please. We all know how fussy EVO are when they review. 

It definitely does have a look of a pumped up Aygo to it.
I love the idea of the car, it sounds like it drives amazingly but I have to say I'm not 100% sold on the looks.

Read the pistonheads article at lunch time today. They seem to love it.
 
Going to make time to watch some of the video reviews at some point. Hopefully Mr Harris or Catchpole will appear with a review soon
