The above by@Leeky seems the best deal. Otherwise you can go to tayna.co.uk and the 2 big brand choices I can suggest are

    Yuasa YBX3031,  3000, 72Ah, 630A , 18.4 Kg, dimensions 26.0*17.4*22.5 (£74.97 delivered)

    Varta 70Ah,  630A, E24DIN570 413 063 , dimension 26.1 cm * 17.5 * 22  ( to top of terminal) (£65.89)

The prices may not be accurate as i noted it a while ago.

Yuasa YBX3014 60Ah is what I bought to replace the feeble Panasonic in my 2017 BRZ.

To prevent potential injuries to someone sticking head or hand out of window, modern car window lifters incorporate check, to if they have some hardship rising window, on detecting of which they stop and go into this mode of not closing completely, and on twins it's also indicating with flashing window operating buttons.
Not that uncommon to see in winters if glass is frozen to seals (advise to use some rubber conditioner eg. gummipflege to reduce frosting to). Weird to see it happening not in winter.
If windows lifting mechanism didn't work after reset trick (btw, no need to wait that long as 15s, just with closed doors press and hold it 2-3s past it lowered, and then press to rise and hold 2-3s past it rised. If worked, should be observable right away, with buttons not flashing anymore, and windows operating normally), then i guess yes, something might be wrong and worth making a trip to dealership. (BTW, my memory is a bit vague on this, frozen glass to seals didn't yet happened for last years since started using said gummipflege, but it's also possible, that one needs to use the switches on door, whose window lifting controller needs to be reset)

Honestly it sounds like it needs reseting. You have to do the reset with the door closed, just in case you haven't.

You could probably pick up a big box of assorted trim and panel clips cheaply from Amazon, Ebay, etc. I have a load in the garage somewhere. They might not be the exact size or shape as the official ones, but as long as they hold securely, it doesn't really matter...not like anyone can see them.

If there's enough left to stick them to, they'll be fine. Just get some decent glue

Almost a year on from this post and I never got around to fixing it myself. But last month I was looking into the problem again and found that they sell these little clips on Japan Parts, and they aren't charging 15 quid each. Instead, I was able to get 2 of them for 17 quid, delivered. Overnight parts from Japan, yo!
Although not overnight. I ordered on the 19th May and they turned up this morning. That's a little job to attend to in my time off this week

Just tried this and I'm not sure it's made a huge difference tbh. My gap was nowhere near as bad as some other examples I've seen though, so maybe it's just diminishing returns.
On the plus side, I didn't have to remove the bumper...just undoing the side indicator and taking a clip out from there I was able to pull the bumper forward enough to fit this clip. Very fiddly (the clips are tiny), but managed it. Im not going to do the drivers side...it wasn't as bad, and now they look roughly even. It just looks like "bad panel gaps", rather than "bumper falling off". Stupidly, I forgot to take a 'before' picture, too.

Sold our much loved Celica and bought our 66' plate GT86. As my wife and I are in our late 60's/early70's, this is probably our 'Swansong' sports car so we are going to damn well enjoy it!

Thank for the update. Sorry to hear they destroyed the engine and not great it affects your partners insurance. Insurance can hopefully give decent value and go from there. At least you still have the great memories you had with the car.

I have a question and think I know the answer but cannot find it. I take it Tetsuya Tada GT86 and GR Supra Chief Engineer had no involvement in this GR86 car? From design photos I did not see him and no mention. Obviously early days and he could either be busy on S58 engine GR Supra or manual GR Supra, or something else entirely but would be nice to see if he had any input in this.

Yeah car parts are mega expensive I want 2017 TRD front lip which looks cool but £800! Regards your badge placements. So some GT86 differ greatly with badges too I have noticed, example mine has no side new 86 circle badges which confused me so I Googled some car images and seems some have no badges, some have them. So it is probably a spec/no spoiler thing as  mine just GT86 on bottom right thing or 2017/18/19/20 Model year difference.

+1 To Sam's comment. Non spoilered boot lids are very rare and sought after. So wouldn't be surprised if someone is very keen to swap.

Glad to hear I'm not on my own.  Duck bill is nice, but I kind of like the original (also with the slight chance I can trade in a few years when the finance is up as OEM).  I've seen some boot + spoliers on ebay but they're £300+  Also some have the Toyota badge on the left or the GT86 badge on the left... Not sure why mine has not Toyota on the left but I quite like it.  And quite pedantically I like the GT86 badge where it is now on the right!
