Koul at that price I might be interested, need to see what happens with the Fiesta as it might be going.

Added DAB yesterday (Tuesday) thanks to RRG Macclesfield for sorting, also had offset top mounts fitted to adjust the camber on my standard suspension setup. Initial thought is sharper steering, going for a proper drive tomorrow, as had to get home pick up daily hack and get to London.

I've recently waited 5 months for a car and actually almost 10 months since I first considered placed deposit changed mind and managed get the slot back (not a Toyota), as there is a new option and it's the Aero I'd wait for that you've had a TRD the aero might not be much different but it is the closest to a facelift we will see and if you can get yellow that would be pretty unique

Hi Paul, the Hakone Skyline has a 50km/h speed limit but I chose to ignore it. Ditto with the Toyo Tires Turnpike where I saw speeds in excess of 170km/h. Slower cars simply pull over for you. You could say it's famous for being a drives road and where people likely go to street race at night. 
 
Everyone in Japan keeps to the speed limits and so do I, apart from the odd exception. I think people accept that rather than having the police patrolling it just to stop you having fun like they would in the UK. 
 
I haven't had time to update the blog, just got back from a 200 mile round trip to Gunma hitting Tokyo traffic both ways not helped by a late start due to a flat battery. New battery fitted now, typical Japanese efficiency!

I think all the Japanese toll roads are normal roads as far as speed limits are concerned (no nurburgring !) so its up to you if you want to risk it

Popped to Blyton not for long was later there than planned due to a work a issue and a new work issue mean't I needed to leave but I did get a couple of pictures.  Would like to have gone out myself as in the wet could have been fun and the track wasn't too busy just after the session restarted.

Yokohama's v105s 30psi all around and boom. Best I've used, I've used a lot of rubber in my day ; )

Looks nice that like the wheels.

Over tyring a car makes it boring. You can drive it flat out everywhere. Handling is not just about when you are driving well within the limits of grip it is also about how the car 'handles' when you exceed the limits of grip and are driving in the tyre slip angle. 
 
If you're a keen driver and like handling, putting too wide tyres on just makes it really boring. 

Would be different but don't think it looks great.
