    Hi All,
There's a fair few of you that have project threads running and on looking at them it can be a bit of a pain to keep track of peoples progress due to the comments & questions on them (which are very welcome by the way)
My question to those who have project threads running and those that don't currently is would a blog feature be more beneficial?
It would mean that you would have the capacity to set up a blog and post updates and within those updates the comments will be held. In essence it would act like a continuous feed of lots of separate threads.. I'm sure you all know how a blog works
The downsides, projects would have to be populated again... Discuss and fill in poll.

5kg stuff is decent enough. Make sure its decoupled with foam. The decent ones come with a faom backing for decoupling but, the cheaper "MLV" is jsut the dense vinyl. I didnt use any of it in my GT86.

When I had the blue stuff I topped up with this:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Toyota-GT-86-Super-Long-Life-Blue-Coolant-Pre-Mixed-1-Litre-/321693310643
FWIW when replacing the coolant you dont have to use subaru special blue. My local subaru dealer only buys it in 10 gallon drums so couldn't sell me any at a reasonable price. (think I got quaoted £60+ for 6 litres).
The coolant needs OAT and low in phosphates, borates, nitrates, amines and silicate free.
I think and manual says something along the lines of "use only Subaru blue long like coolant or any other low phosphate coolant using Organic Acid Technology and free from borates, nitrates, amines and silicates."
I use Millers Alpine Red Long Life.

Another chalk test for track is to put a line around the sidewalls to see how much the tyre is rolling over on to them.

This is what I went with @Rich https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NVF9OIA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's very lightweight (I think under 2kg for all 10 sheets) and did a great job on mine. It was recommended to me by a local audio specialist who uses it for lightweight installs.

@Rich if you wait a few more weeks, I will have some info on lightweight weight damping/deadening....both doors and car....

I'm very happy with the ride on my Flex As - it's better than stock on the road, and much better on track (I think the camber is the big factor for track). Hydro bump stop is nice, you can feel it catch the piston sometimes and it's a lot softer than just slamming into a rubber stop. Note that if you really push it it will just bang though.
Mine also passed the girlfriend test - she said it rides better than most other cars, including the Audi A4 I had as a courtesy car.

So I got her back a couple of a weeks ago, finally had a free day to give it a good wash, fit the Toms tail lights, diffuser and debadge the boot in preparation for the TRD spoiler which is painted and ready to fit soon.
All in all a productive and very pleasing day :-)
There's also a pic of the fender garnish with the horrible chrome painted gun metal to match the wheels, its subtle but I'm really glad I decided to do it.

How about the childish things, like noise?
The TVS chargers give off a feint whine, but nothing like as loud as the Sprintex. The TD kit on the other hand is classic Supra/Skyline soundtrack. Open wastegate, flutter when lifting off etc. It's by no means subtle. I can't imagine it would be a deciding factor, but certainly something to consider I would think.

You'll probably be running -2.5 degrees of camber at the rear or fairly close to that, so you'll want a fair bit of front camber to match that. Zero toe all round I'd suggest as Church says.

Mine feels good at 172 bhp/ton, but I could use a bit more sometimes. Partly it's delivery too - the standard car feels slower than it is because of the lumpy torque.

My V105s are on around 16K miles and 3 track days. Last check showed 3 mm front, 4 mm rear (they have been rotated). That's pretty good wear in my book.

    An update from my post:
As I mentioned previously, a couple of days after having a John Ashley custom silencer installed, the volume went from really quiet to really loud again (not as loud as it was before the silencer) and I was worried that either there was a weld issue or maybe the wadding inside the silencer had been burnt out.  Not only that but the rattling/raspy sound was worse than ever.
So about a week later, I booked my car in again to see what the issue is while changing the back box completely from a Cobra system to a custom made Y shape system which would hopefully improve flow and hopefully remove any raspiness.  Found out that the silencer was perfectly fine, what had happened was one of the bolts holding the mid pipe to the back box had fallen out and the exhaust was blowing the gasket out so I kept the silencer as is.
After several hours of work, the lads at John Ashley Exhausts finished my custom Y shape back box so now I'm essentially running a custom John Ashley catback exhaust system and I've got to say, the volume is about spot on.  It's louder than when the silencer was fitted and still quieter than it was before....even had a sound meter to test it while I was there and was getting about 88dbs but the proof of the pudding was on track a couple of Fridays ago at Oulton Park where as you can hear from the video, I only got 83dbs....then again I was only doing 5000rpm rather than the usual 5500rpm but there or there abouts anyways so very happy with the result.  Even managed to re-use the black outverted tips which I like.
The only slight gripe at the moment is the original gripe of that raspy sound, the car, when cold, would sound a bit raspy/rattly around 4000rpm part load but once it's hot, it doesn't rasp or rattle as much or at all sometimes so I'm just hoping that once they get carboned up that they'll reduce or even stop completely but again, still pretty happy with how they've turned out!
So now I'm running the Tuning Developments Unequal Length Decat Manifold with their Overpipe, Berk High Flow Cat followed by John Ashley's Custom Silenced Y Shape Catback Exhaust System with Cobra's Black Outverted Exhaust Tips
