Cracking wheels 

I met a number of you yesterday at JAE & couldn't have been more welcome when I had quite a few questions about the GT86. 
 
I talked to Minion for quite a while & said I would be joining the club when I got home as had only come down for the day so here I am, I'm the old fat bloke you talked to around midday as a load of the club members went off for a walk in the blow up dinosaur costumes  . As soon as I get the car I'm after I will be getting premium membership as didn't realise there was an option for sticker colour until now.
 
As soon as I get the time I will be booking a test drive then the hunt for the perfect car starts as I would really like the aero in grey but would settle for black if I found one at a good price.
 
I've had a gen6 Celica for 12 years & the GT86 is the next logical step as even after walking around JAE & looking at all the other Jap cars the only other one that I was drawn to is the GTR but its just not as nice imho. I was really impressed how members were more than happy to spend so much time chatting to me as I'm older than a lot of their dads but it shows what a friendly club you are & I'm looking forward to meeting up at shows next year

There is no reason a cat back exhaust (which the N1 is) will fail an MOT. The only reason you would fail an MOT due to changing an exhaust is if you took both the cat's out. 
In shorter words yes this is road legal & yes you will pass an MOT

Hi all,
Has any of you listened to there engine at idle and found there is some strange "rotational" sound coming from the engine bay? It is noticeable on mine and heard it on some of the videos I watched on YouTube and if I press the clutch pedal the sound goes away. Anyway I just found out this service bulletin on the ft86 forum and was wondering if that is a fix that could be done under warranty? Probably @Riceburner can have an opinion on that? Thanks in advance! 
P.S. My car is 2013 (63 plate) and has around 40k on the clock if that matters.

Work wheels tend to be the best priced of the JDM lot. Well, the Work Emotion series anyway. Tyres wise... Pilot Sport 4's are the absolute nuts, wouldn't recommend anything else for road use. You pay a premium for them over most brands, but 100% worth it imo!  

I'm at donnington and have coilovers with 235 tyres but not sure if I'm gonna have time to properly set them up, If i manage to crack on with it tonight your more than welcome to have a nosey

+1 for the costco one I have it and it's good, slightly impractical for me due to my bodykit but its fine i use the scissor jack to raid the front a bit first
