  1. Does anyone have and not need the license plate holder off their brz front bumper (i have a 2018 model if that helps) or knows of where I could get one? seems like a tow bar went into mine and bent the license plate and the holder, I would like a new one before I put my new plates on

  3. Hi all, I've currently got a pair of vland headlights for sale. They have been involved in a light front accident, the drivers side headlight has a few missing/broken brackets. The passenger side is in good condition. Both have light scratches that could potentially be removed with some TLC. Both headlights work perfectly. Ideal for someone who would like to fix the brackets on the drivers side for a cheap set or need a replacement passenger side. I can take more pictures if requested. I'm looking for £150 ono. Collection available from West Midlands, Birmingham. I can post but for will be at extra cost. Thanks 🙂

  7. Welcome to the sale of my much-loved 2013 Subaru BRZ, it has 82,009 miles, which are not moving up much as it has become my second car. It only goes out for a weekly run to keep it ticking over nicely. I am the second owner, purchased in March 2017, covering half of the total miles. As you will see, this is an OEM+ car. I originally intended to keep it indefinitely, so my changes have focused on addressing the weak points, to create a well sorted and hospitable BRZ. I am asking £10,000 OVNO and I am in no rush to sell. Please only make enquiries if you are serious. I am open to discussion on price and can remove mods like the Enkeis or Vent Gauge, to accommodate a drop. However, ridiculous low-ball offers will only waste both our time. There are cheaper Toybarus out there, but not in this condition and with all the weak spots addressed and in this classic colour scheme. I have made many improvements to iron out some of the factory shortcomings and make it a nicer place to be. I have added the Toyota arm rest, which covers the unsightly plastic chasm between the seats and provides a space to stow your phone, keys and change – you can even rest your arm on it. There is a lightning cable under the arm rest, which connects to the upgraded Sony XAV-AX100 head unit for CarPlay (and Android Auto if you prefer). The new head unit not only functions, sounds and looks miles better than the Fisher Price OEM stereo, it also displays the reverse cam feed. This can be changed to USB for non-Apple phones. The head unit is linked to upgraded Focal IS165 TOY speakers in the front doors and dash. I have also added sound 3mm deadening to the doors, wheel arches, boot floor, under the rear seats and on the rear wings. This reduces road noise and resonance from the speakers. Overall, it is a huge improvement in musicality over stock. Also included, a hardwired Mobius dash cam; tucked discretely behind the rear view, so it does not get in the way when driving. Records on a loop and operates on ignition, requires zero effort to keep an eye out for you. Underneath and out of sight, there are MTEC shift springs and Whiteline gearbox bush inserts, which give a beautiful tight feel to the already excellent standard shift. On the more practical side, a Cusco extended accelerator pedal makes heal & toe that little bit easier. The cabin is in excellent condition throughout. It is regularly detailed, with surfaces protected, as well as cleaned. Despite my best care efforts, there is some wear to the driver’s seat bolster, it’s minor but it is visible. Moving backwards, the rear seats are all present and correct and the interior is excellent throughout. In the boot, I have added a cargo net to keep the shopping in check and some back seat pulls. This means you can drop the back seat from within the boot, without having to get in via the front doors. There is also a Perrin boot pull, so you can close the boot lid from a handle within, rather than touching the outside paint each time. Lockdown 1 killed the battery, so it has been upgraded. This outperforms the OEM battery in every way. If you have been looking at these cars, you will know the OEM battery is a weak spot. That is no longer the case. The exterior has had very few tweaks. You will notice that the front fog lamps are wrapped yellow (can be reversed easily if desired). I have also replaced the OEM aerial with the much more pleasing shark fin. The OEM brake lights have been upgraded to Valenti smoked red, a great improvement over the original silver. The rear fog/reverse combo lamp unit has also been upgraded. Last but not least, the parcel shelf 3rd brake light has been replaced with the Intec high level brake light, this provides much improved visibility out of the rear window but retains the 3rd brake light. My favourite exterior change is the 18” Enkei RPF1s which are running Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rubber (225/40/18). I hope these can be included in the sale, as they really set the car off, but will depend on the price agreed. The classic Subaru blue and bronze works beautifully, if I do say so myself. The 17” OEM wheels are included regardless (also with MPS4 rubber). On the performance side of things, again I have tried to address OEM shortcomings. On the front are a set of upgraded AP Racing CP9200 callipers, with two-piece discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads (Reyland kit). This delivers a boost in stopping power, I’ve not yet managed to run out of pedal. At the rear, the callipers remain OEM, however, they have been refurbished and colour matched to the fronts by Godspeed. The rear pads also match the DS2500s on the front and the rear discs are DBA T2s. There are also stainless brake lines fitted. Further performance improvements (with the added bonus of aural benefits too!) are UEL headers and the work of art which is the Ark GRiP exhaust. This adds a beautiful deep rumble when cruising. It’s not bad on full chat either. Recently the heat wrap on the headers was looking a bit thread bare, so that has been removed and they have been to Zircotec for full ceramic coating. To take advantage of the breathing mods, the car has been remapped by the well-regarded guys at Tuning Developments. This has been transformative in terms of getting rid of the infamous torque dip, really sharpening up the throttle response and such a worthwhile upgrade. It also adds other items such as launch control, flat foot shifting and a map for 95 RON – I have not needed these, but they do all work. When the car is not being driven, I indulge in my detailing hobby (have a little look here). It is only bathed and protected with my favourite products. Accordingly, the exterior paint, engine bay and interior are all in tidy order. The front end does have the stone chips associated with having covered 80k and there is the start of some lacquer failure low down on the front bumper, which can be seen here. Several of the brackets in the engine bay have been striped, rust protected and repainted. A large number of nuts, bolts and washers in the engine bay have been replaced with aluminium or stainless items from Pro-Bolt. During my ownership the car has never missed a beat and I will be genuinely sorry to see her go, it has been very well looked after and I’ve enjoyed spending time and money doing all the work. The big jobs like the clutch and spark plug change have plenty of time before they are due. Also, the 2013 MY Valve Spring Recall was done by Subaru and she’s covered 14,000 trouble free miles since then. The car has not wanted for anything on the servicing and maintenance front, the fluids (including differential, gearbox and brake) have been swapped multiple times in my ownership and drive & feel spot on. Always using quality replacements. I replaced the A/C pump (as it was squeaking) and had it re-gassed, so that is ice cold and will be for a good while yet. No vehicle is complete without a big file of invoices and history, I have kept almost everything since taking ownership and also found some from Subaru on the servicing before me. The content above is a brief summary, an extensive folder of receipts, invoices and other supporting documents accompanies the car. I have loved owning the BRZ and not only used her as a practical daily (it has had a full home cinema in there) I’ve also driven her across the B roads of the UK, through France, up and down the Swiss Alps, half the length of Italy & back. She’s never let me down. Thank you for reading this far, drop me a PM if you are interested. If you’d like to browse my build thread, it can be found here. I am more than happy to take you out for a drive, or for you to test drive it, provided fully comprehensive insurance is in place.
  8. I'm selling my Litchfield spec S supercharger kit, as I have now replaced with a turbo set up. The kit was on the car for 18 months and did roughly 15k miles in my ownership (meaning it has done 23k miles in total). A brand new belt and a nearly full bottle Rotrex Supercharger fluid are included in the sale (£140 value in total). I'm asking for £2,000 for the whole kit (see pictures below). The price new from Litchfield was around £4,300. I managed 279bhp with this charger, with great torque improvements. (see dyno print out below). It was installed and tuned by Fensport. This modification gives the car the power curve, power level it should have been produced with. Any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Collection is preferred from Littlehampton (BN17 5JU), could potentially meet. N.B. I will be driving to Fensport this coming Thursday (28th June 2018), so could drop with them if you'd like to organise for them to install and tune.
  9. Love seeing the BRZ in this colour. Anyone on here? Hope you avoided the delays further south on the A34.
  10. Hi, I am looking for APR carbon overlay diffuser or any other similar style. Preferably not the seibon one (looks the same as OE..). Post what you got even if it would require cutting into bumper. THanks
  11. Thought I’d post this as a separate topic as my lights are sold. I bought a set of Subaru Badge Vinyl Overlays from Premium Auto Styling. They are Gloss Black backs with a bright Red insert. You have on the backing: Front, Rear and Steering wheel badge. These are top quality and not some eBay special. I’m looking for £15 which is buttons compared to original price of £30. Posting only to UK addresses

    Clutch Opportunity

OK so this is my first post but im kinda panicking because I just purchased a exedy clutch kit with chromoly flywheel for my 13 scion frs. I have a recall on my car and its going to the dealership and they're pulling the engine to replace valve springs so I bought the clutch because they said they'd add the work on for an extra hour charge (pulling the engine is free already). Anyways I don't know if I did enough research, I understand the lighter flywheel will be better to drive but I'm only driving the car daily, am i going to need a remap? should i cancel the order and just order an exedy oem clutch kit and stick with the stock flywheel??? Im not broke but I am going to school so money is rationed around here give me all of your opinions whether I should stick with what I ordered or cancel.

    Oil leak help

Have an issue, found oil/fuild leak on top of my engine and don't know where it's come from or what could be leaking. Leak is on the passager side (left hand side) doesn't seem to be coming from timing cover or from near the head gasket so was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions. Can anyone help? Any help would be mostly appreciated Thanks Joe
  16. I traded in my beloved GT86 for work-related reasons and this is the last 'part' I have left for sale. The number plate is BRZ 767. It wasn't registered or fitted to my car. You can, however, admire my Photoshop skills by seeing what the number plate could look like on your BRZ hehe. The benefit of this designation is that it can be easily understood by the uninitiated; it's simply the model name. You'll be really lucky if the numbers have a meaning for you too. Perhaps you were born in July 1967, July 1976, or 7th June YYY7?! Either way it's a balanced sequence. The price I'm offering is the price I paid, which is £399 via PayPal, plus shipping. The sale will include the transfer of the registration certificate, front and rear legal plates and a fitting kit. I'm not willing to entertain any offer unless and until I list the number plate on eBay in the summer months (when I think there will be more interest). Please send me a PM or post is this forum if you're interested, or have any questions. I recognise that I have zero reputation here, but I do have a long standing presence on eBay, so can list the item there if you have concerns.
  17. i have a 2013 eu MT BRZ here with a bricked ecu, writing stopped during flashing (OFT) (battery) and now there is no rom on the car. it had originally the ZA1J700H rom. (2012-2013 eu mt) tried procedure with battery deconnection and then trying to reflash stock rom but no luck. even with a new battery. it is a car with a regular key, no smart. so i'm looking for a second had ecu nr 22765-AC830 on top of the ecu i have this code "HG" https://imgur.com/a/4t4tiSV if you have someting that can work and want it to ship to Belgium than make me a price. kind regards Tonni
  18. Hello everyone! I managed to pick one of my dream cars on Saturday, a 66 plate Subaru BRZ SE Lux in stunning crystal black. I have many plans for the car starting with some lighter alloys with stickier wider tires then onto some coils 🤔. Can’t forget about some tints and going for that full black on black look!
  19. Decided I don’t really need three sets of fender garnishes, and would much prefer canards. On the car less than a year and look virtually brand new, save for the small bit of 3M tape you’d need to replace - looking for £90 + postage
  20. Has any brought seat covers that fit snuggly for the 2017 BRZ SE LUX ...mainly want them for the front seats...but if back seats are available...good. Have found a place in the USA that makes them custom fit for the above model...but was wondering if any place in the UK does the same. Thanks
  21. Hello All, I've decided to reduce the price and to price it without some of the mods on, to keep it more flexible. £13,995 for the car without the following mods listed below; Milltek Cat Back Exhaust (with resonated and non-resonated section pipes - I bought both in the end). Tomei Un-equal Length Headers (Decat) Wheels – Work Emotion CR Ultimate Kiwami, Matt Gunmetal 8.5J ET38 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres 225/35 (Near new) If you're interested in the above parts separately, PM me with a reasonable offer Note, the rest of the mods listed below will still come with the car at the price indicated above. Thanks, Tom ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear GT86/BRZ Enthusiasts, I’m Tom, a proud owner of a lightly and tastefully modified 63 plate Subaru BRZ SE Lux in WRX Blue, sadly looking to sell due to moving abroad for the foreseeable future for work. I’ve owned this BRZ since December 2015 where it came to me via Cambridge Subaru dealership in pristine stock condition, with approximately 14000 Miles on the clock. I spent a long time trying to find the right one for me and with a full Subaru Service History. The extras on the SE Lux edition are: Heated Seats Alcantara upholstered leather seats (Added option) Pioneer SatNAV + Entertainment system Mod List: Milltek Cat Back Exhaust (with resonated and non-resonated section pipes - I bought both in the end). The external of the car is in A1 condition, the few stone chips that I have received have been professionally touched up and colour matched. The only external features that have been changed are the lightweight Work Emotions and the rear diffuser - which I may have bought on a whim on my most recent visit to Fensport. The internal of the car is again in A1 condition, no damage to seat bolsters or fabrics, all electronics work and the Satnav unit has always been reliable, to be honest it still has that new car smell! Overall, this is a special car, in immaculate condition with nothing but pride and enthusiasm put its way since purchase, it is a car for a real enthusiast of the engineering and capability of such a good and nimble platform. Whilst ideally I’d prefer to sell with the modifications fitted, I have kept all original parts that have been replaced, including original wheels and tyres, so if required the car could be put back to standard and run on base map 4. I can appreciate that one man’s tastes are not necessarily the same as another's. These will be included with full asking price. Current Figures on the car: 31,827 Miles on chassis & Gearbox & Approx. 11,000 Miles on Engine (This will go up as it’s currently being used as my daily driver). MOT Due 19th November 2018 Service Due 9th November 2018 The car (and me) live in Hertfordshire and is available from late September and I’m looking for £18,450, with all stock items not currently fitted included in the sale. I am open to the idea of returning the car back to stock configuration, but would prefer to avoid this if possible, please contact me to negotiate. Thanks for reading! Tom

    Focal speaker upgrade

Hi all, I'm looking for some guidance regarding an audio upgrade for my new shape BRZ. I'm currently looking into a Kenwood head unit from the UK and a 2 din OEM trim and plug and play harness from Australia made by a company called carboncarsystems which will allow me to keep my steering controls and give an OEM look but want to see what's around speaker wise to improve the sound quality. If anyone knows of something in the UK that will allow me to keep the steering controls please let me know, carboncarsystems are being a bit funny about shipping to the UK. I've seen there's a plug and play kit made by Focal https://www.bassjunkies.com/is165toy.html which looks to be good but wondered if anyone has fitted it and can give me their opinion if it's a good option to go for? While the tweeters would be out I've seen there's space for a mid tone speaker in there which comes with a JDL kit? Is it worth finding a mid tone to go in with the tweeter? I'm also interested in changing my rear speakers, I know their 4" and there are lots of options on the market but wondered what people can recommend that are yet again plug and play. I've also seen people buying an amp to go behind the head unit, whats this all about? I'm not keen on putting any speakers in the boot or covering the car in sound proofing materials, I'm simply after a good quality system which is noticeably better than the stock system. Budget wise I would spend £500 max but would like to spend less however I understand you obviously get what you pay for!! Please any advise or reviews welcome, sorry to create another audio related thread but the answer I wanted wasn't on the existing ones.
  23. Hello lads! I just bought a BRZ and surely need some morse power. Please keep in mind, that i may not get all terms correct, seems i am a newbie 🙂. Anyway... I would want to get a complete stage1 kit, and it seems like there would be the best way to get a e85 tune, to get most hp for a low cost, but i may be interested in even more bigger kit, that may involve manifold or even a turbo kit. So of you have any tuning kit for sale, please let me know! I live in Sweden so i need to have it shipped. (Sorry for My bad English)
  24. Hey all, Recently just came back from Germany with a load of mates. Had an absolute blast with the 86! The roads were just fantastic and well suited for this car, especially in the wet It's nice to see a handful of 86's and BRZ's out there. It was my first time actually driving on the Nurburgring (2nd ever time on a track in this car, first being at Angelsey), so the first 1 or 2 laps I took with caution while I learned where my braking points are and how the car handles. Sounds silly, but I know the track pretty well just by racing with my sim setup on Assetto Corsa and IRacing and it felt very familiar and comfortable haha! I didn't lap with the intentions of timing but I do a fair bit of endurance karting, so I have the mindset of a racer of wanting to overtake everyone and follow fast lines I had it all on video so I was able to time the laps afterwards, however, almost every lap bar my final and quickest lap was hurt by some serious yellow flags and traffic. You're very lucky to be able to do a lap without the ring closing or a yellow flag present somewhere! All my laps I had a passenger in and almost a full tank of fuel so that plays a large factor in handling and times as well especially in our cars! haha. My 4th lap was my fastest lap as I decided to do a solo lap with low fuel to see how the car handles and it made a huge difference! (5 seconds quicker halfway into the lap than my 5th and fastest recorded lap) but then I hit a load of yellows at the end of the circuit which ruined the time. To top it off, my camera died which is a massive shame but that's how it is! Eventually, the 5th lap I managed to get ahead of traffic and set an 8m 48s lap for my first ever trip to the ring and that's in a stock car! Came away a very happy man! haha. This is the lap: Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBTZur0nO1t_uh65xcSTQTeP5k7HkjhED A handful of photos: (link:https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10211780077443345.1073741860.1411372255&type=1&l=afa18d7c16) Now it's been round stock, it's time to add a few bits to it and see what it's really capable of! I imagine this can get in high 7's with wider tyres, a bit more power in engine and brakes and a good geometry setup! Anyone else got any Nurburgring experiences to share?
