haha! with the weekend being the only time i am getting on the drive, all sunlight hours are spent digging trenches in clay to try and sort my flooding issues (living next to a field doesnt help!)  My hoover would drown outside at the moment!

As my car is no longer a "daily" I've made an effort to use "shortest route" with the satnav instead of quickest to try out some quieter roads. I'm 30mins late everywhere I go but the roads are a lot more fun! Found this village on the way back which had a nice muddy hole to take some photos in:
 

 

15mm front and 20mm rear this is with Rota Boost 17" wheels (can`t remember offset) running OEM tyres and HKS Hipermax 4GT suspension (-17mm front and -16mm rear). I`m now proposing to drop a further 8mm. Looks pretty good.

Any chance you have aftermarket wheels and the spigot ring has stayed on the hub and not in the wheel... Most Rotas have a 73mm centre bore so that could explain it

Some say it will as you've removed the harmonic damping of the crank, others say that the flat 4 doesn't require it and will be fine. Who you believe is up to you, personally I'd err on the side of caution and I won't be doing it. The main decision is whether you're keeping the car long, as I bet many who have read the advice have said "bugger it, I won't have the car if the engine does lunch itself" or whether you want to risk based on forum knowledge. Certainly on this platform it's too new to know if it's an issue or not
 
As for evidence, I've not seen any directly to suggest it is detrimental, but as above it could take a long time to surface.

Was told on the phone i'd be called back in 20 mins as nobody was available to quote. This was at around 5pm yesterday. So when should I be expecting this call back?
