If it's any help I have non-res Milltek with a secondary cat delete and over-pipe. It's absolutely fine on the motorway no drone at all. I do 400+ miles a week, with a fair bit of motorway thrown in. Not an issue.

Ah yes I can see them. Good work, you have been busy!

Think the exhaust sounds too quiet though you can only really tell what an exhaust is like by driving the car. Delete the 2nd cat gain a bit more power and make it sound better.

    Welcome aboard!

You may want to re-evaluate getting a Milltek. They are prone to cracking. I'm currently on my third!

I really like my Tein Streetflex with EDFC Active Pro. It will run rings round a standard car. Improvement in ride quality and they've been faultless in over 25K miles.

The new Streetflex Z which are non-rebuildable seem like an absolute bargain tbh. They are liking them on the US forums.

I had a day that doesn't seem to happen to me very often. I remembered all my corner speeds, so just hit it straight away. To be fair, my first run would have won by two seconds nearly, but obviously I chipped away at it all day just in case Kev and Jamie looked like they were getting close.

In the end I was 3.2 seconds clear, so my biggest win by a big margin. I was absolutely in the zone on that day and really felt that there was nothing more I could get out of the car. A wonderful day for me and so pleased to win and convincingly rather than coming bloody second again which I hate.

Mike, for you, turn in later, feed the power in, use more track, particularly so at Port Froid where you should just be hanging the inside wheels on the right (well left) side of the corner outside line! Learn to heel and toe. Seriously put the effort in, it's just so worth it.

Since I first saw this advertised back in September 2014, I've been gearing up to take part in Pure Rally UK which is essentially a scaled down version of the Gumball Rally for the UK.

    http://www.purerally.co.uk/

This involves a gruelling journey of over 1,000miles in just 4 days up and down the UK, broken up by go karting, parties every night and a full team of staff to ensure you're experience is the best it can be.

Starting from Ace Café in West London on Friday 1st May, we then venture to:

    Cardiff
    Manchester (2nd May)
    Edinburgh (3rd May)
and back to London (4th May)

Luckily I'll have a co-driver to share some of the driving, but nevertheless it's still a heck of a journey!

The car is currently being serviced at Abbey Motorsport to ensure she's all good to go for her 1,000 mile tour. Baring in mind that I don't even do 1,000 miles in a month, this is very different to the norm for my car. I'm have no doubts it'll be a stroll in the park for the GT86, but with the likes of Aston Martin V12's, BMW M5's, Porsche 911's and a bunch of other insanely quick cars, she will be tested along the way.

So, I thought I'd make a little "diary" of my experience. I know the guys that run it really well and this is their biggest year by far. But with plans for another 3 UK rallies in 2015, a London to Paris to Barcelona run and possibly an American Rally in 2016, these events will just get bigger and better.

I'll be updating this later on in the week with the car all stickered up and ready to go and then making updates along the way (when I manage to...) so you can all keep a lookout for me or any of the other Pure Rally cars over the weekend.

I'm doing this with 3 of my closest friends and we've all put a lot of time, effort and money into making sure we do this in style

It's just the pad material. Nothing you can realistically do. Mine squeak all the time (when I'm braking). I think I've just got used to it.

Your other option is to change to non standard brake pads. That might help.

Always in sport mode for me, it's the first thing I do after starting the engine. It bugs me if the 2 lights aren't on as I've got used to them being there now...

I also don't think the club should be subisdising sitckers for TSS entry, it's only a handful of us after all. I'm quite happy to pay £8. I'm also not convinced that a club sticker will be used in isolation by members at car shows and the like. A few of us have stuck all our vinyl on at times, but that's okay as it's how the car looks at sprints.

If people want to have a bigger club sticker for their car, then we should just do them at cost, not sure whether they need the mangetic backing, but that would be extra cost of course.

New STi style front splitter and rear bumper add-ons fitted over the weekend

Courtesy of Chris @ Tarmac Sportz, great looking kit for very little cost in my opinion.

Fitment on the front splitter is spot on, the rear add-ons need a bit of extra sticky stuff to make them perfect but you can only see a very very slight gap between the add-on and the bumper if you're looking very close at them

The side skirts need to be stuck onto the car and I didn't have any stuff to do this with so will leave them for another time for the bodyshop to do

Car went in for a service this week at the same time Fensport fitted HEL brake lines & Tein Flex Z shocks.

Dave also found a leak in the AVO oil pump so that was replaced, this might be the cause of the smelly cabin ive had since the turbo was fitted.

There's a part of me that likes it, that if you want more power you modify it. These cars are all about individualisation just like the AE86 is. It's good for the scene to have tuners doing things with the cars and there are tons and tons of parts available as a result. They should leave it as is and let us make it our own in our own way.

Yeah I did know I was posting it. But yes, it does beg the question that if one isn't allowed then neither should the others, I agree on that. The trouble is such jokes are made on stereotypes which is problematic in itself and whether it's an old steretype or a newer one doesn't make it any better. The problem is all the time we make jokes like this we reinforce prejudice and therein lies the problem. Not only that but we demonstrate our ignorance.

We live in a multicultural community and I would be appalled to think that a member is offended because of their religion, race, sexuality or for some other reason after seeing something posted on here. This community is for all and we welcome anyone, so we can't allow jokes that poke fun at minorities especially so if we are in the majority.
