    Toyota Retrofit DAB

I ended up buying a similar system called justDRIVE from justconnectme.co.uk. It sounds similar to the Toyota one but is £30 cheaper. They also install it at your home or place of work. They did a great job on mine with everything hidden away. Yes, you need a separate remote but you can program in your favourites and mount the remote somewhere convenient using the supplied Velcro pads, so it's no big deal.

Thanks for all of your replies. There does not seem to be anybody who has actually had the module fitted though. I'm still not sure how well it integrates with the Touch & Go, if it does at all! Can anybody help?

I've been thinking about having the Toyota upgrade fitted since getting my car. My dealer has told me that they can fit the system but it will not be fully integrated with my Touch & Go Nav unit. Is this correct? If it is can anybody who has had this fitted please let me know what happens. Do you get the display and the programme selection is made via a separate unit or what. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Chris

Thanks for all of the kind messages........and the not so kind! Special K, my first proper car was a 1600GT mk 2 Cortina back in 1974. My first sports car was a 1500 Triumph Spitfire that I bought new in 1977 when in the RAF in Germany. I'm getting impatient now, waiting for my GT86, my dealer has told me that delivery should now be May 1st. Let's hope that he's correct!

Nice to know that I'm not the only one Nick! Looking on the bright side, I bet my insurance is cheaper than most of these young whippersnappers!!

Ok then, how many people on this forum are over 60?

Thanks for the welcome! The dealer I'm using is not national so I can only assume that they don't have the same access to stock as the larger outfits. I think that I've just been unlucky with how the production plan has fallen in Japan. I haven't been given a firm date for delivery yet, just an estimate. My previous cars have been fairly boring, Insignia, X Type, etc. I'm really looking forward to having a fun car now!

Hi All, just a quick note to introduce myself. My name is Chris and I am from Peterborough. I'm probably at the older end of the scale of people's ages on this forum, having just turned 60! I ordered my orange GT86 with nav last Saturday, after taking a demo out for a two hour test drive. Both me and my Wife loved the car. The only problem is that it looks as though I will not get my hands on it until the end of April at the earliest! This will be the longest seven weeks of my life. I'm sure that it will be worth the wait. Cheers, Chris
