From a few years back...

No I was continuously Supreme until I sold up due to lack of space but that's no longer a problem. It might take me a little while to get back into it but I'm sure it won't take me too long! I used to AWP all the time just about so don't know if that fits in well with you or not? I've even had a friendly game against pashabiceps in the past so should be able to pull my weight

My assumption with Wildlands is that it's another reskin of the tried and tested Ubisoft game concept. Large and mostly uninteresting map full of icons, representing loads of pointless collectables and samey bases/outposts to attack. 
God I hate Ubisoft 

I do too! But just love the two tone look! Severely tempted to order a set of CR 2P's, but I should really be saving for other bits on my list of mods! 

I have the C unit type and it works fine @Andrew Smith. I also have a dongle that looks very much like Rich's.

So, little update. Car is currently being E-mapped by @Fensport and it feels the absolute dogs bollocks so far. Proper throttle response and a punchy midrange!
Still wavering on the idea of a BBK or not, @Adehas been kind enough to let me have his used Clubracer/HC800 pads to try out for Anglesey. Will likely make my decision after then
Also a quick wash for PistonHeads Sunday Service!

Loads of us from Essex.  I am down the road in basildon. We had an essex meet a few weeks ago and I met a few of the crowd for the first time. Nice bunch

That boot handle is awesome! I need one (although perhaps not in red).
Sadly enough one of my biggest gripes with this car is the lack of an interior handle to close the boot with.

haha watched Engineering Explained's video on steel brake lines yesterday

First of the serious, frivolous mods today.
Requiring nearly all my tools.
As well as my Captain Brave pants.




Drilled into the inner skin of the boot lid.

Fitted a dirty great rivet.

Did some screwing.

After a few minutes hard work, the job was complete.

Can you tell what it is yet?



That's right!!!! It's a boot lid handle, in red! And with it being a mod, it's good for AT LEAST 15bhp, and the extra weight is over the driven wheels, so extra grip too!

I also found a random boot magnet, silver, on the right.



Does everyone on this platform have a random boot lid magnet? Or is it just me?

Update from Rich @ RRG, it's repairable. 
Bad news, the bill. Won't be getting that turbo any time soon.

That's what I do too, seems the best way

I soak some kitchen towel in hot water and put it on the poo for a few minutes. Softens it right up and then seems fairly easy to remove without damage.

Just buy some quick detailer and use that with a microfiber towel. The best option is to get your car ceramic coated, that way the poo doesn't eat into the clear coat. 

I always have some Autoglym bird wipes in the boot for "emergencies", but yeah - stay away from trees. Better to get into a hot car rather than one plastered with bird shit.
