Bedford is very good to start with (as was highlighted by quite a few people here), combination of fast and slow corners, lots of run off, I also felt marshals were rather good (though i am sure few chaps banned for noise would disagree).
Its also long enough to be interesting and once you split it into sections you challenge yourself where you feel more confident.

The only part i didnt particularly like was 2 straights with chicane between them. Even if you carry decent speed out of the corner, our cars are just too slow to accelerate (i could just about reach 110 ish before i had to brake again). But "slow(er)" corners are fab, I often noticed i was getting back closer to M3 on coeners that was overtaking me on straight.

    I'll definitely do it again

I haven't experienced it yet and wouldn't want to at that speed. However, I went round a roundabout and the whole car felt like it was sliding, very strange but also quite fun, usually just the back end loses grip but it felt like all 4 tyres where sliding; primacy's  don't feel safe with them at all. Some days they are fine, then other days they would just lose grip without warning and not pushing hard.

    Edit: Oh and welcome

Same, thanks @Lucas@PartBox. Even sent me a black rubber cap for my coilovers as 1 of mine disappeared in transit; also Thanks to Tein for agreeing to send it. Now my OCD will be under control... as will my body roll.

Just had to call Steven Eagell as I hadn't heard anything. They are waiting on a new part to come in and it will be changed.

I know what you mean, luckily my first sprint was on an airfield so loads of run off... not sure what I would be running off into though as the grass was higher than the cars. The 'track' wasn't all that smooth either, quite bumpy in places; so at least with this Cadwell park it will be nice and smooth, your PS4's will be sticking to that like... umm something really sticky.
But do what I did, don't turn any of the aids off; don't push hard trying to beat someone you don't know and just have fun. You can set yourself a realistic target just to give yourself something to aim for; my first lap I set 2mins 6secs so I thought I would set myself a target of under 2mins; considering it's my first ever track experience, never even done any karting before; still had the stock primacy's. So making up around 6 secs didn't seem like a ridiculous target. The last 2 runs I just broke the 2 mins.

Edit: When I got home and viewed my dashcam, I could see where I was losing loads of time but I didn't care while I was there, was just doing it for fun. Although I was jealous of everyone getting medals except me, I had no chance of getting one being a complete newbie; maybe they should have had a newbie award .

Cerastes got a reaction from Johnno92 in Alloy wheels - useful website
    Hi all,
While doing some research on what size alloys and tyres I could potentially go for I came across this website.  I am trying to fill out the arch gap and also get the wheels to come out a bit more without using spacers. Arch gap isn't as important.
Anyway, enter your current sizes and then your proposed sizes and it gives you details of how far away it will be from suspension strut and how far it will come out and with a really nice diagram.
FYI OEM sizes are below in case anyone needs them.
    Width 215
    Profile 45
    Diameter 17
    Width 7"
    Offset 48 (I believe).

Thanks! First delivery was a set of Valenti V2 sequential taillights.. While I'm on the subject, I ordered a few bits from Fensport during that week and all arrived next day, great service..!
Then shortly after, a Top Sage TRD style ducktail spoiler. Came unpainted black ABS plastic, no adhesive or fasteners. Fairly decent quality but needed abit of smoothing, so que the sandpaper/micromesh and spray filler, soon to be followed by 61K paint, or as Toyota imaginatively named it "Dark Grey".. Also took the liberty or removing all unnecessary badging off the back.
Finished product abit orange peely, but some micromesh and a good polish will sort that later. Used Halfords spongy double sided trim tape to secure/seal it, however discovered at the last minute the OEM spoiler screws are smaller than the fitting in the Top Sage spoiler, quick trip to B&Q and I managed to get some the right size, and got the spoiler on.
Broke out the tar remover and a clay bar to get the residue from the badges off, then time for a quick detail and some Dodo juice Purple Haze..

This is a pretty decent one and it's shown in our car too so might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3Qj1YZAebY
He uses a similar technique to what I do and sort of rolls the edge of his foot onto the gas pedal rather than swiveling your heel onto it. Some people may say it's cheating but I've found that this way works a bit better for me on the road and achieves the same result. When I'm on track and have my race boots on though I have to swivel my foot as they are so thin I can't reach the gas pedal just by rolling my foot.
The way I learned was mastering just rev-matching first and getting that near perfect and then moved on to heel and toe afterwards.
It's one of those things where practice makes perfect, when I was learning it I ended up doing quite a few accidental emergency stops from pressing the brake to hard trying to do it.  It's also much easier to do when you are on track as you are using 90+% of your brakes anwyays so if you press on a bit too hard it won't be as noticeable compared to slow speeds on the road where you are only using about 20% of the brakes for example.
