    aftermarket version of this part

Thanks all for the advice and thanks church for the part number!
  2. Does anyone know of an aftermarket version of this part? I really like the seamless look but my god is that part expensive once you add a TRD sticker to it.

    Stacking performance mods

Hi guys, Excuse my ignorance because when it comes to the mechanics of power output I'm clueless. So after doing some research on improving the performance of my stock 86 I found the Crawford power blocks, the advertised gains seem far too good to be true. I initially planned to stick with new exhaust and engine tune but if the claims of the power blocks are true then I'd add those on too. Although I'm a little suspicious of their claims otherwise every NA would be running them I'd have thought. So my question is, am I wasting money doing Crawford power blocks, exhaust and tune. If I am should I just go exhaust and tune? Not sure about doing headers due to noise levels. Does anyone have any experience with the Crawford power blocks and if so, are the company claims true?

    Fuel type

Thanks all! I didn't intend on ever using supermarket fuel which it is unfortunately running on now as the dealership filled it up. Vpower it is. No idea where to find nitro+, my shell don't stock it.

    Fuel type

Sorry if it has been answered already, the search function doesn't seem to work on my phone. Fuel for the 86, should it be run on premium fuel? Also, for long journeys does shell fuelsave make any difference or would the engine burning premium fuel be more efficient?

    New to RWD!

None of that sounds like I want to use it right now haha These tyres look like they were made out of a WH Smiths pencil eraser rubber so I'll hold off until I have something sensible.

    New to RWD!

Been there! Im trying to be gentle with it haha Im yet to read the owners manual, what is the difference between VSC and TC because I believe the VSC turns off traction control too?

    New to RWD!

I think that will be the case, I have never heard of the brand on the back but then again I suppose that doesn't necessarily mean they are bad...or maybe it does. Has anyone heard of rovelo tyres?

    New to RWD!

Cheers @Steeps. I figured as much, the rear tyres are very slippy and even with little power they are tending to spin a little. I absolutely do not intend on taking every roudabout sideways so maybe some new tyres are needed haha

    New to RWD!

Hi guys, Thought I'd introduce myself! Just picked up my red 2014 GT86 yesterday, awesome little car! Came from a Golf MK4, to a Rav 4 to this! Having little experience with RWD cars or this type of performance I'm having a few thoughts run through my mind, maybe someone can put my mind at ease. I managed to get the wheels to spin at 60, in a straight line in the wet so naturally took me by surprise a little, is this normal or do I need some better tyres on the rear? (Michelin on the front, generic brand on the back). Also most of the power delivery is in the top of the rev range, this is bizzare to me coming from an underpowered 1.6 golf to a heavy turbo diesel suv. Is driving at the top of the rev range likely to cause damage over time or am I overthinking everything?
