Bob, give me a shout and we'll sort something out to get it back on the car for you.

Glad to hear you're keeping it after all that back and to

Long overdue post here, I actually got this car on 28th October, bought from Special K. Unfortunately there were a couple of issues and the car had to go back to Fensport to be sorted, I went away on business and then by the time I got the car back I couldn't find time to take pictures or post about it.
    Quick spec list:
    Vehicle is a 2012 Auto
HKS Supercharged, fully forged engine build
250whp or thereabouts, about 300bhp at the engine.
    Milltek full system
TEIN Street Flex 6kg Rear / 5kg Front with EDFC
    Summit rear arms
    Summit braces all round
    Stoptech BBK all round
    Custom transmission cooler
    SSP uprated torque converter
Some of you will remember the car. When I test drove it, it looked like this:

    ...then I got busy.
First, the spoiler and bootlid were removed, with the standard put back on. I then removed the CF bonnet too, leaving a car with the full set of silver stripes across it which made it look a lot more obvious than before. I fitted some Valenti light's I'd bought and I then put the set of standard wheels on because they had some winter tyres fitted, leaving the car looking like this:

Next to go, therefore, were the stripes which was much more of a pain than I imagined. The ones on the boot and bonnet were OKish, taking about an hour total for the boot, and another for the bonnet because I did it last and had got the technique by then. The roof was another story altogether; five years of sun and cold and various things that make vinyl go off had taken their toll and it came off in about a thousand tiny bits. I think it took around 2 hours each side. Once they were all off, they'd left a line of glue all the way round so I called a mate to ask for advice, one thing left to another and 4 hours later we made some progress:

after that, and a bit more adjustment to the bonnet I finally had the car where I'd like it to be right now. Full-on sleeper mode.

Quite happy with it at the moment. I changed the TEIN Springs to 5kg on the front from 6kg. So far I've just driven to work but the turn in already feels better and the ride is also improved somewhat.
Not really sure what I'll do next. I think pick a new set of wheels for summer and perhaps de-spoiler, just need to find a bodyshop to fill the holes in the bootlid if I do. Probably some trackdays.
Hope you like it, I'm going to be here for a while!

    Cheers.

They wouldn't necessarily take your wheels off for servicing unless they were doing something on the brakes.

Had the 40k service the other day - that's two services (due to mileage) and I've not owned the car 12 months yet! Car came out with a clean bill of heath, my rear tyres have lost 1mm since the last service and my rear brake pads only have 5mm left - I appear to be using the rear brakes more than the front, oops...
As ever RRG were superb. Great friendly welcome, my car feels great after a little bit of fettling and the price ended up being less than quoted. Honestly as far as dealerships are concerned I've not come across one better regardless of manufacturer. Happy customer!

Thanks for the idea but I'm paying cash for it so don't need finance.

Just paid for membership as well

I'm off to see the car on Monday to pay the balance but unfortunately cant take it home then as theres a mark on the parcel shelf which they are going to replace for me so they will deliver the car to me on Friday which is my next day off after Monday so have plenty of time to get quotes for insurance. As the car is only 6 months old I think it will be worth paying for the smart cover & get free GAP insurance included as well.

Thanks for everyone's input to help me find the right car & I didnt expect to find one so quickly but I think I have made the right choice as with no spoiler I can put whatever bodykit I want on the car without having to worry about ant existing holes.

Now the fun begins as I will have to decide what modifications I want to make to the car & I have a few ideas already so will start a new thread on that soon

So yesterday morning I picked up my freshly refurbished wheels from Yorvik Engineering Services, really nice guys and they've done a fantastic job. I picked these up from Tashan a few weeks back, originally one in bronze and three in flat black - after agonising over the colour for weeks I decided to ask them to match the bronze wheel, especially how it looked under direct sunlight which gave it a slightly more gold tone and they've nailed it. They also fitted my new tyres - Advan V105s in 235/40/18 so all I had to do was get them home and on the car.
First things first, enlist the girlfriend to help me get them dust free and protected with a couple of layers of wax:

Fitting next with the aid of Mishimoto extended wheels nuts courtesy of @Tuned UK - great service from them and nice to receive car parts in a nicely designed package for once.

First one on (note the standard scissor jack, total PITA doing all 4 wheels with this):

Absolutely loving the new setup, no rubbing but I do need to get a tiny bit more camber dialed in to tuck them in a touch more. Proper pics to come once I've got the car cleaned up.

Some of you probably know that I went on holiday today.
We went to Lake District - Bowness on Windermere and then Penrith - that's where we are staying tonight. There's a nice Bn'B we always stay in.
I took some photos of the car this afternoon, and hopefully I'll be able to get some more tomorrow on my way to Edinburgh. After that we're going to Driftland for British Drift Championship on Sunday, so it should be an eventful weekend.
    Anyway, here are the pics.
Kirkstone Pass is beautiful! I recommend going for a drive there! It was my first time in the 86 today and it was more fun than ever!
