    Try Rich at RRG Macclesfield....

... or nick one off a showroom forecourt...

( I use Bluetack - when the brake and rim gets hot the centre expands and the cap pops off... I've lost five 'Rota' caps...)

    Thanks Kevin. And Lauren.
Rob - it is worth considerably more if one takes the cost prices of parts and development into account. The modded transmissions cost more than £3grand a pop, the spare uprated SSP torque converter brought in two months ago cost more than £1500 including duty and VAT. I won't talk about the cost of the new forged engine with HKS supercharger . . take a guess . .
And the new Milltek exhaust fitted three weeks ago was £800 plus. . but . . . whilst I still love the fun and friendship of the Drivers Club and TSS I have to be realistic. My reaction times are way off what they were only five years ago (and they were bloody awful then compared to 40-odd years ago!) and there is no point in having 50+bhp more than the n/a cars if the driver (me)  is incapable of using it effectively and feels embarrassed at the margin between the likes of Kevin, Lauren, Thomas, Mike . .
Age (70+), health (various issues) and finances. I have finally retired, having done five years overtime, and the odd £3grand a month I was lavishing on my hobby is not sustainable.
As you all know - I have never lifted a spanner to the car, it has all been maintained and developed by Fensport, so if anyone wants an objective review of the car go ask Adrian. It has a number of unique mods which we have developed together, specifically to enhance the GT86 auto version, and I hope to follow, very keenly, its sprint activities in the hands of someone who can do Fensport and the car justice.
It is unique, a one-off. It appears as though the issues caused by the massive turbo torque spike prior to the torque converter locking at 2800rpm have been overcome by the gentler torque curve from a supercharged setup . . the forged internals were merely insurance for longevity, not power related . . one trackday and one sprint at Kendrew  and I know it is me who's past my sell-by date, not the car.
My head ruled my heart on pricing - I want someone to buy it, work its socks off but more importantly enjoy it.
See you at Anglesey . .

Special K reacted to Lauren in Worth remapping?
You can remap it, but it will be fine as it is. Might be worth saving for a manifold first though to avoid remapping twice. I'm getting an equal length manifold and exhaust from Tuning Developments in Warrington fitted this week. Will be ditching my Milltek and getting another remap of course! I would say Tuning developments are nearer to you than anyone else.
Wait till you get the new manifold. Unless you want to spend an extra £350 on another mapping session.

    Hi
It's about time we had an Essex meet , yes ?
I'm  just waiting to get my car back from Fensport, there was a problem with my new engine.
I'm booked to do the TSS Round 2 at Croft in a fortnight but I won't be competing in the GT86 as the engine has to be run in, so I'm guest driving Gary Street's Starlet. Be good to get back on the track after a year . .

    Ade,
I run 2.5neg on all four corners. Road. Track. It is as solid as a rock. I point it and it nails it - I cannot believe you are saying that negative camber on GT86 ".. it makes no difference . ."
You're running Ohlins. Probably the best dampers for reactive suspension you can buy  (according to LFA and others). But they are yesteryear, in my opinion.
It's a pity you haven't tried something a little more proactive, like the Tein EDFC system. Lauren's system is middle-of-the-road (as is mine!!) but neither of us have the roadcraft or the trackcraft to take it to its ultimate.
And EDFC is the way that suspensions have (and will) evolve. Indeed, you only have to review the current supercars to see how it has developed. It is 'standard'  - bollixing about with rollbar diameters is (to my mind) equivalent to cut/shut the chassis by 2cm.
Your theory is excellent - but I believe a little behind the times, as the bumpstops (merely as one example)  were modified by some of us two years ago following a Millbrook test day.
Adjusting rollbar tension (diameters) is the easiest way to cause grief and distress, in my opinion. We GT86DC owners are not F1 chassis engineers and we cannot simulate the effects. 'Trial and error' < I quote you > costs bent motorcars and bent lives, and is not what I recommend on any club Forum
Mebbe I read this wrong - perhaps you ARE a serious player. In which case perhaps we can meet up at a trackday next year, or at Snet this weekend, and you can evaluate a truly 'set-up' GT86 - err, with knobs on . .
However . . at the risk of incurring Tein's wrath, can I mention we are looking at a development.
A 'Cortana' version of EDFC. Voice controlled. One of the most exciting projects I have been involved in.
    It will actually recognise ".... OH, NO . . . . FSCK!!!!..."
