Are you planning to sprint with the contis? I reckon they'd be decent come rain or shine

If it's wet I'll use the Contis but if it's dry I'll switch over to the track wheels with the Federal's on. From what I've heard the Contis will get destroyed pretty quickly on a dry track.

Having tried them I prefer the Yoko's. In fact so much so I lost the Contisport Contact 5's before the first round still with plenty of tread on to go back to Yoko's. I think the Contis are good as a road tyre though, but they don't provide quite the grip levels of the Yokos.

Never tried the Yoko 105s. Ive just put full set of Conti sport5s on my Merc. Maybe i should have tried the Yokos.

The new conti sport contact 6 just beat the pilot super sport on wet and dry but sadle only on big rims at the moment. Developed for the nee civic type R which is the fastest FWD car round nurburgring.

You're certainly good enough to enter the TSS, Jeff. Doing it massively improves your driving anyway. :)

Cheers @Lauren! Although it was health better rather than skill better I meant! 😆

Yes, of course, I misread that! I was thinking, well he's quicker than those in the TSS at Curburough so surely he's good enough! Hope you feel better soon. x

That'll be fixed soon enough...

haha love it. Wish I had more weekends free to join the fun.

The Curborough dates are all weekdays @Ade - that's why I'm limited to one this year as I'm at work for the rest.

From June onwards they are on Wednesdays I believe and fall roughly in the middle of each month.
