It's interesting to me, too, as Mark made a very safe map for my Harrop.
I did consider replacing the fuel pump with a higher performance one, but awaiting further advice.

This is all very interesting, especially to me as I have the smaller pulley waiting to be fitted.  I just have to be brave!  Matt said that his map (specific for my car)  would happily adjust to the smaller pulley, but that I was using up the safety margin built in and should not take it on track or "dump the clutch" too often in a short space of time.

@Mani I'm a little surprised that Sam Hardy has not approached the drivers club in the first instance. That would have been the easy way. There is no breakdown in communication. Sam at Cult 86 has simply not consulted us. Then people seem to be aking us why. If Sam wishes to combine Cult 86 with the DC then all he had to do is ask. Simple stuff you'd think?
Cult 86 has 66 FB members. GT86 BRZ DC has over 11,600 I cannot think why it would be my job to chase them? 

A question I would ask is why Cult 86 didn't speak to us about joining with our stand seeing as it's been organised for a year and a half. Cult 86 could have had a section on our stand. Maybe you should ask them? 
GT86 OC have always been invited to join us at Japfest. 
The GT86 DC FB page is exactly that. It is not a joint venture with the OC.

People will always ask the same questions over and over. It's simply the nature of the beast. We can't really help that many spend their entire lives on FB and don't look at forums, it's just the way things have gone. 

The forums seem to be getting ignored when events are arranged and people NOT on FB don't get to hear about them.
A lot of forum type questions get asked on FB when the answers are on the club forums, which can be searched for (not on FB!). This results in the same old questions being asked. FB users need to be pointed in the direction of the 2 existing forums, Drivers' Club and Owners' Club.
Another club has started up (Cult 86 which I admittedly have joined) that are having separate Club Stands at shows i.e Japfest Silverstone surely we all want a gathering together of as many 86's as possible not rival stands!

The B Road Hunting Club are inviting Jap cars to the Bentley Motor Museum site in Sussex this coming Saturday. They are open 10 till 5 for coffee, light lunches etc. It is a sort of cars and coffee event with a jap theme.

The Museum itself is not open AFAIK. The postcode is BN8 5AF.

Be good to see some 86s/BRZs there. Let me know if you are thinking of attending.

My car passes emissions test legitimately at my Toyota dealership.  I have second cat delete pipe, but the OEM exhaust manifold (with primary cat) still in place.  I did drive around on the original primacies and alloys for a while, and under most circumstances they were okay, but under hard acceleration from standstill I could easily fishtail with a nasty smell.  Since uprating wheels and tyres I have had no traction problems.  

I can do the Thursday or Friday but not both

It was around £4500 fitted at the time, all superbly installed by Abbey Motorsport.
As I explained in my PM to you, I really didn't want a turbo marring the excellent knife-edge handling of the car.  The supercharger is very predictable in that regard and just feels like a bigger engine.

I have a question and think I know the answer but cannot find it. I take it Tetsuya Tada GT86 and GR Supra Chief Engineer had no involvement in this GR86 car? From design photos I did not see him and no mention. Obviously early days and he could either be busy on S58 engine GR Supra or manual GR Supra, or something else entirely but would be nice to see if he had any input in this.

Naa think I'd prefer that one on the left 😉

got the heads for the LS3 buttoned up, cleaned up the second head, proceeded to lap the valves and then re-install them along with brand new valve springs, seats/seals and the refreshed and upgraded rocker arms!
 
There's unfortunately not much else to say than that! It took quite a bit of time and alot of elbow grease to get them cleaned up as thoroughly as I could and then all 16 (thankfully only 16!) valves as they were quite heavily pitted, especially in the case of the exhaust valves.
