Friend of mine has one as a track car, they're brilliant fun and they've aged quite well IMO

@Keethos lol, rekt. You told him.
My assumption with Wildlands is that it's another reskin of the tried and tested Ubisoft game concept. Large and mostly uninteresting map full of icons, representing loads of pointless collectables and samey bases/outposts to attack.
    God I hate Ubisoft

Came across these videos on YouTube which I thought may be of use to people when deciding what they want from an exhaust in terms of sound and style and also for people who may be considering any of these specific exhausts.
Part 1. This probably has my two favorites for sound in it - the HKS Legamax Sports and the Zele (although that's mostly because I just really like the Zeal car)
    Part 2
    Part 3
    Part 4

    A couple of little things..
I got my Joying Android head unit fitted after a bit of aggro. I bought the connects2 dash kit for the GT86 and the brackets and the Joying did not want to play ball. There were some metal tabs on the brackets that where preventing them from sitting flush against the unit. A bit of angle grinding later, and it was in. Unfortunately, the bits of trim that comes in the connects2 kit also don't fit (GG really), they're ever so slightly too large so I currently have a bit of gap in the dash. I can live with it though, for now at least.
I also took long awaited receipt of my Anarchy Motive Titan gear knob. I didn't realise quite how big a difference a heavier knob would make, but shift feel is massively improved. When you consider cost and difference made, it's my favourite change so far.

I went to a cars and coffee meet last month and it was a nice sunny day and I'd cleaned my wheels for the meet so I grabbed a few better pics of the wheels on the way home.

I spent this weekend just gone in Surrey and managed to get booked in to Abbey while I was there. I was visiting for a full geo check and also to add to the soundtrack
I did get the geo done when I got the suspension fitted but I kept on thinking that something wasn't right so I wanted to get it on the Hunter to check everything. It was out of shape by quite some way to my surprise, camber all over the place and quite an amount of toe at the rears. This has been sorted now and the car felt rather different on the drive home.
So yea, pops and bangs. I have always wanted a setup that bangs etc and I'm not sure why I didn't ask for something to be done when I originally got the car mapped but oh well, with the recent discussions I decided I'd get something sorted.
I asked Mark to go nuts with it as it's a copy of the map I use day-to-day so I can easily swap back and forth between the two and go nuts he did  Now I've run it a bit I have a couple of things I might get tweaked next time I pop down as it can be a little harsh but it certainly makes some noise.
It's pretty ridiculous tbf but that's where having changeable maps comes in handy.
I got the gf to do a couple of (admittedly crap) videos and the car was being a little camera shy I think but it gives you an idea anyway. I also found a video that I did ages ago and never shared so here's that too.

After their trial by fire at Oulton I can report that the Motons were simply awesome.
The weather was very changeable yesterday and much of the day was wet or very wet so I left them exactly as they were when I arrived (2 clicks from fully soft). They really allowed the car to breathe with the circuit while keeping excess roll well in check.
I don't know the correct names (I'm generally terrible with names which isn't great for a teacher!) but their was one section on the track where there were two quite noticeable and large bumps in the track which you were hitting at around triple figures before braking heavily - the dampers soaked these up and kept the car beautifully composed.
On the way home Waze sent me a rather strange route which involved a lot of very bumpy country roads which the dampers just soaked up beautifully. I really was impressed.
However, I'm not suggesting these have given the car a limo like ride - with the design of our dampers that's never going to be possible imho.
I'd also still recommend the Tein Flex A's for purely road use. The Motons soft are now similar to the Flex A's when they're set towards fully stiff but obviously with a world of further adjustments to stiffen them more. Since the modifications on Monday for anyone who tracks a bit and uses the car on the road I'd happily recommend the Motons whereas previously I'd really have only recommended them if the majority of your use was track.

People need to move on from those 3 doing Top Gear. They were arguably running out of ideas at the end anyway. Amazon only had them to boost popularity of Prime and we'll see even more ads pushing this.

On Monday I spent the day at AST having a few more tweeks made to the Motons. While the low speed damping was excellent they just weren't as happy as I'd have liked with the high speed damping (the stuff you feel more pottering around on a daily basis).
AST had a plan as they felt it wasn't a spring issue but rather a damping one. To remedy this they produced custom pistons with 4 extra bleed holes for the rear and 2 extra for the fronts along with enlargement of some of the existing bleed holes. They went with less at the front to keep the precision and taughtness that you want on turn in. Changing the piston like this reduced both the compression and rebound damping. AST wanted to keep the compression a little lower but return the rebond to as it was so they revalved the dampers to achieve this.
    So did it work?
Yes. When I first drove it, after just the rears being done, the difference was marked. The overly fidgety nature at low speeds and slight bounce this brought had gone. With the fronts done too the transformation was complete. The drive back felt more like a 'normal' car and that was with the dampers set to 2 clicks from fully soft - previously full soft was needed for road use. Finally the dampers felt like they could 'breathe' with the road 😀
I'm at Oulton Park today so they'll definitely get a trial by fire and I'll report back on how they do later 👍

Tareim reacted to Adam9 in Speaker Baffle Template
As I've been unable to find this anywhere else I've created a printable template for cutting your own front door speaker baffles.
The preferable way to do this is to print the PDF with no scaling, it should print to the correct dimensions on A4 but check the measurement guides against a ruler before you start work to make sure they are correct. The guides should be accurate to within less than 1mm, if they are out then the template has been scaled by your printer or application and you need to try again.
The second option is to use the attached PNG file and insert it into a document yourself in something like word or publisher and play around with scaling until it prints perfectly (you will probably waste a lot of paper). You will need margins set very small to fit this on the page at full size.
I haven't tested these myself yet but I have sized them against existing adaptors and they look perfect. I don't believe the GT86/BRZ needs the outer corner thickness reducing so the baffles can be a single thickness with a hole in the centre.
    For the last time:
DO NOT waste time and materials cutting against this template if the scales don't match perfectly against a ruler or tape measure etc.
If you've stumbled in here searching for baffles for a different  model of Toyota then these might do the trick as well, this layout is used in multiple models.
