Thanks, all! Yes, looking at a facelift BRZ demo car with low mileage. I surprise myself by rather liking it in white, I think it accentuates the swooping coupe shape.
I've already dropped Mike a PM on possibly booking him for March or so.
Thanks, Kevin, you're very close and I'll keep that in mind.

Welcome! (all be it a few months too late)
Are you looking at the facelift BRZ?
Also for anything exhaust and tuning related I'd give @Mike@TD.co.uk a shout. Plenty of us on here have used him and I haven't heard one bad word against him. Wether it's just a little bit of advice or a full blown turbo kit your looking for I'm sure he'll be happy to answer any of your questions

CTEK are very good. I have the 3.6A one and within an hour it used to charge my knacker battery  enough to start the car.

The CTEK chargers can be left connected indefinitely. Its a clever little charger and can be used to condition the battery too.

CTEK is the way forward. I was in the same boat, a bit of research and it was clear what to go for. Hook it up switch it on and leave it. Simple.

Fairly sure my dad uses something similar to this for his bike and it does the job.

A sad day indeed, but after much deliberation over the past week and driving it for the weekend to convince myself otherwise i'm putting my GT86 up for sale. Given the broad spectrum of pricing on the market at the moment, i'm struggling to gauge how much this car really is worth. I guess it's worth as much as anyone is willing to pay for it and given the amount included with the sale i'm going to put this up for £14,000.
Car has just come back from having it's 5 year Service and MOT at Abbey Motorsport, nothing bad to report!
Car will come with receipts/Invoices for all work carried out on the car along with full service history and a stamped book (once I go around and get 5 years of stamps!) Car has been maintained by Abbey Motorsport who i'm sure you all know and i'm sure Mark can vouch for the car.
    Engine
ECUTEK Tune (ECU Programming tool & dongle included with sale)
    HKS Super hybrid panel filter
    Exhaust
    OEM Exhaust
    Suspension / Bracing / Other
    TEIN Street Flex coilover
    TEIN EDFC active pro
    Aluminium propshaft
    Brakes
    Tarox front BBK
Dixcel HS Front/Rear Discs & Z type Pads (Fronts obviously not on the car!)
    Cosmetic
Five-Axis bodykit (minus the spoiler) smoothed in (Work carried out by RT Performance)
    Intec rear lights
Dark smoke window security tints on rear 3 windows
    Wheels
    ROTA Titan 17x9 ET42
    Bad Bits
I'm going to be as transparent as I can with the bad bits to the car so that any potential buyer knows so see below.
Front bumper could do with being remoulded as clips underneath are not intact and little crack on front (Cost approx 300)
Tow cap is cracked (I have a replacement already it just needs painting
Drivers side window has a scratch in it but functions correctly. This is a known fault that Toyota will be aware of (the runner & glass needs replacing)
Usual cracking on edge of fibreglass, needs touchups (these are minor things that nobody notices but I know they are there.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As above if you missed the price i'm looking for £14,000 though i'm open to offers. I'd prefer to just sell as is but if anyone wants a partout let me know  I'm going to dump some old pics in until I can actually get around to washing & taking some up to date pics of the car.

Yeah, that's the problem. I've been resisting so far...
Years ago I had a Calibra (don't judge me) that I lowered, poly bushed, fitted 17s (big wheels at the time), fitted wilwood big brakes, magnex straight through exhaust,  HIDs (a new thing at the time and only high end premium cars had them as standard), a subtle aerofoil spoiler (modified slightly and painted body colour), upgraded head unit with Focal 'mids and tweeters' and twin 12' subs.
From memory it handled well, but the 86 platform is far superior (the only thing I've driven that I could compare to the 86/brz is a friend's Lotus Exige!).
It would appear that I'm having some kind of mid life crisis and almost trying to build the same car again? 😬 😂

They are genuine TRD fenders, I bought from Japan parts, but by the time the custom charges etc came into effect it worked out similar price. I bought the standard unpainted version and got them aqua/hydro dipped in carbon fibre effect.

    Cosworth Sump Plate/Baffle
I picked up a Cosworth sump plate baffle in part box bank holiday discounts. Its very nice piece with baffle plates that stick up into the engine to help reduce breather oil pickup. It has a total of 10 trap doors to ensure oil can return quickly to the sump but being very soft and flexible they close fast and seal nicely to stop oil pouring away from the pickup on long high G corners.   The plan eventually to run slick tyres.   Here some picture of the install:
