sam534 62 Report post Posted February 25, 2018 I had a few exhaust tweeks done at Rogue Motorsport this week the main one of which was swapping the 2nd oem cat for a high flow item. While Rogue were doing the work they found that the cat in my JDL manifold had come out and got itself rammed into the overpipe! They replaced the overpipe for me and also reworked the catted manifold to make it into a catless version. Couple of pictures below:- And the reworked manifold and high flow sports cat in place:- Below is a video clip of the car at startup and low speed manoeuvring (not a cold start):-[/url] And a video running through the rev range:- The video below is how it previously sounded recorded using the same camera and mic set up:- As you can see it's a little louder now but not massively so. I'm not sure how it'll get on with Bedford's noise limits but I had a reasonable amount of headroom before so I'm hoping it'll be OK. If not then I'll look to have a resonator added to the second cat pipe. Oops!! 🤣🤣

Ade 517 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Yeah, how does the standard manifold hold up from your research? Sent from my STF-L09 using TapatalkN/A I think as long as the tuner knows where there doing, you'll be fine. Supercharged however, when on boost thing can get very hot.Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Deacon 1357 Report post Posted April 6, 2018 Cars spent the week at Rogue having a few bits done. ARP wheel studs have been fitted, Cosworth sump baffle has gone in and it's had all new fluids - Millers 0w30 oil, Millers clutch fluid, ATE brake fluid, Millers diff oil and Millers gearbox oil. Also had a slight blow on the exhaust sorted (my installation error). Put the summer wheels on this afternoon ready for Bedford on Monday. The wheels are clean, the rest of the car looks like it's been rallied!
Deacon 1357 Report post Posted April 10, 2018 I picked up a set of Voodoo 13 LCA's. @DanJ suggested fitting a set of rod end covers to protect the rod ends from road salt, dirt, etc. They're pretty cheap (about £4) but a bugger to fit. They should work well though as there isn't much chance of anything getting through to the ends now.
DanJ 374 Report post Posted April 10, 2018 Glad you managed to find a size that worked. If you ever have to do them again, lube em up with washing up liquid. 2 Ade and Deacon reacted to this

Deacon 1357 Report post Posted May 17, 2018 Intake noise video. It's got quite a bark and the volume ramps up massively with hard throttle application. I'll get a video once the intake box is on too as I expect it'll quieten it down quite a bit
Deacon 1357 Report post Posted May 20, 2018 I picked up a few carbon bits yesterday. First up is a Varis Cooling System 2 Then a seibon carbon bootlid Finally a carbon wing The wing probably won't go on though as I don't think I want to part with my ducktail so if anyone is after a cheap carbon wing pm me 👍
Deacon 1357 Report post Posted May 20, 2018 I got chance to fit the bonnet this afternoon Definitely makes the front end look meaner 2 Ignited and surrey86 reacted to this
Deacon 1357 Report post Posted October 20, 2018 Haven't updated this for ages as there hasn't been that much to report but I've got a few bits and pieces underway and waiting to be fitted. Firstly I removed the Voodoo 13 LCA's. The Motons I have fitted lower the car quite a bit without touching their lowering capacity and it was just too much with the drop the Voodoo's give meaning that to get the ride height I wanted the dampers were 'topping out'. I also sold the carbon wing and boot as I decided I didn't want to change from my Legsport carbon ducktail. My cars been away for a while having a few bits done which I'll report back on when they're finished. In the meantime I've picked up a few bits to give the interior a bit of a lift. First up I got a new gear knob from a company called Commune DIY who make them from recycled skateboards so each one is unique. I went for one with primarily red and black woods to match my interior colours I also had the shift pattern burnt into the top.
Deacon 1357 Report post Posted October 20, 2018 Next up I bought the black interior trim pieces from the poverty spec Japanese version. I also picked up some covers for the hvac controls from Wish And these illuminated toggle switches which replace the little cubby next to the starter switch (although I haven't decided what I'm actually going to use them for yet) And lastly, as the door cards have to come off to fit some of the new trim bits, I've also ordered a set of the Focal IS165TOY replacement speakers. Deacon 1357 Report post Posted October 20, 2018 Final thing for now is I renewed my insurance for another year with Greenlight. It'd come down from last year which was a nice surprise.
spikyone 139 Report post Posted October 21, 2018 Interested to see how those black interior bits look; the silver plastic does look a bit naff but I can't decide whether it needs something that isn't black/grey to lift the interior a bit. I actually fitted the AliExpress HVAC trims to mine yesterday and it's a big improvement, the photo doesn't really do it justice: Only trouble is it highlights how cheap the T-pattern fascia around the controls looks... 1 Deacon reacted to this
