Omer86 reacted to Offa in Mustang Finally arrived!!!
Not driven the latest Mustang, however the Dodge Challenger remains my personal favourite ... A burbling V8 to drag you up a 5000 foot climb, but then again I'm sure the more agile Mustang is far more fun in the curves, and pretty much everywhere in the UK!

Omer86 reacted to Special K in Ninja Hellcat
There I was . . gently motoring down the M6/M1 yesterday morning from Cumbria. . . left at 7.45am, dropped off the end of the M6 Toll and, at Watford Gap at about 11.00am , caught up with a Ninja '64 plate . .
Hmm . . dunno . . flashed my lights as I overtook, glanced left . . it was Carla . .!
We had a great hoon from Watford down to M25 . . she's a b*gger for overtaking on the inside (but legit, outside lane was >70mph ). She has proper lane discipline and, being a gentleman, I adopted my surrogate role as shepherd, giving undertake and gently flashing my headlights to suggest "GET A FSCKING MOVE ON !!"
Respect, lady. I enjoyed it and you broke up a really boring journey . .

Unfortunately being a teacher I have no choice but to go during the school holidays😔
Whilst I have no problem with anyone organising trips on alternative dates I would appreciate this thread remaining focused on the window I have suggested. I hope this request doesn't cause any offence.
Impressed with your proposed route though Chris. 😜

Omer86 reacted to Fensport in Fensport News
Hi Everyone,
Really an apology for not posting for some time, we have been so crazy busy working on and mapping the cars there just hasn't been much time for posting!
Big news for Fensport is the launch of our new website spring next year, with the help of a fellow 86 enthusiast our plan is to bring you, hopefully, the best "Toyota" site ever! The new site covers 138 Toyota models and around 5,000 products, so as you can imagine its a big job! It will be user and mobile friendly, much more informative, and we will have a dedicated blog which will allow us to feed our news in to the forum
Here's a pic of our workshop, full of 86's as usual!
Due to all our efforts going in to the new site, our old one is no longer being updated, stock levels will be correct, but if there is anything else you need drop Dan a line and we'll do our best for you !
I know its early, but I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and hope Santa fills your stockings with loads of go faster goodies!
We've had a cracking 2015 and want to say a massive thank you for all your support this year
Best Regards
Adrian and the Team @ Fensport

Omer86 reacted to Kristov4 in Official: Mod therapy for depression!
So bit of a weird day.
Took the day off work due to splitting headaches and generally feeling shit! Tried to make an appointment with the GP but was told the earliest would be in a week! By that time I would probably be an emotional wreck so decided to cheer myself up with some modification therapy!
I've had a HKS manifold sitting in my living room (curtesy of Lee) for the past few weeks evolving into a coffee table. So I took it to my local garage to get a quote on fitting. "£60 +vat and I can do it now" sorted.
Less than 1 hour later all fitted and they fixed a puncture in my nearside rear tyre. Took it out for a blast and I'm very impressed!
I'm no expert but the car felt much more responsive, seemed to pull right through the old torque dip and sounds amazing. Putting a huge smile on my face!
No sign yet of the expected warning light from the o2 sensors. Can't wait to get it to Fensport for Adrian to wave his magic wand over the ECU and maximise the gains!
Still got a headache but who gives a shit! might have to take tomorrow off though to complete the therapy on some great roads around Oxford!
Quick question for you more learned fellows. I've noticed on line that a lot of peeps have taken the step of heat shielding the oil sump following similar modification. Is this considered vital or just precautionary?
Oh and if you read this Mas I could do with some HKS decals if you have any spare?

Omer86 reacted to charged in Another Newbie
After waiting and waiting for the right spec car to come up, I am very pleased to announce that I made a purchase from a main dealer this afternoon! It ticks all my boxes, white, 1 owner, 16k miles, no red bits inside, immaculate inside and out. I'm a happy camper! I went slightly over budget but I got the right car. I nearly bought another white one a month back but it had the two tone red seats (which are nice, just not for me), stone chips and marks on the inside of the door so I am so glad I held out for the right car. It came on the market yesterday afternoon and I bought it this afternoon. Like a rat up a drainpipe.
It joins my Mk1 MR2 and Corolla T Sport which unfortunately means I have run out of driveway space ha ha!
It is being delivered Monday with a full tank of fuel.
Sneak preview
I have lots of things planned but will have to let my wallet recover first, it's the biggest purchase I've ever put on my debit card that's for sure!!
Cheers
Ollie

I have also being planning THE most epic UK road trip. I think I will drive this before the N.coast 500 and turn it in to a 1,000 mile beast
This is what I have came up with so far. It's a work in progress, I tried to include all the places on amazing roads to visit including the Evo triangle, Yorkshire Dales, Butter tubs and the Tan Hill Inn, Loch Lomond and some gems I've previously found.
