Hi all, here's some install pics from our car

It's a relatively easy install, remove the standard g/box mounting bridge and make own mounts along with a modified prop and linkage.

It is LOUD very LOUD and not a mod for road cars

Remember 4th gear is the direct 1 to 1 drive now for dyno on Monday and make sure the vvt is switched and the air temps are good !

There's way more to come from the engine yet, we're only scratching the surface so we'll see you on Friday, for the Stoptechs, as long as Mr Customs is nice to us

No worries on the maps guys, working closely with Cosworth I will just be a "map logger" for the day and and simply send them logs to fine tune

We already have a base map to suit the Avo exhaust

    Not long now Mike

Fensport got a reaction from remal in Blitz GT86/BRZ SUS Induction Kit
The GT86/BRZ Blitz SUS induction kit is in stock.
All parts included to bolt straight on.
This is the best selling Blitz filter and is easily recognisable by it’s striking stainless steel mesh design. Often copied but never bettered, the original stainless mesh filter from Blitz years after it’s initial conception on the racetracks of Japan for the Blitz touring car team.
Made from a very fine mesh of SUS304 grade stainless steel it straightens the airflow into the engine reducing aerodynamic tumble, resulting in great power gains and a unique induction sound which identifies it as a Blitz SUS filter. The SUS power is also a dry filter and can be cleaned at normal service intervals.

SUS Induction kits have been tested up to 1200 BHP

    SUS Power Induction kit

    Core Type: C3
http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-4255.aspx   The retail price including VAT and carriage would normally be £315.00   By simply quoting "GT86 Drivers Club" the discounted price comes down to £269.00 including VAT and free UK shipping.    To order call the normal 01354 696968 and ask for Tim or Tony, or email blitz@fensport.co.uk     Best Regards   Tim

As a result of this thread and many other enquiries over the last few days, we are about to place an air freight order with Blitz Japan for the 55703 Suction Kits.
I fully expect them to be with us in around a fortnight's time.
    http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-4254.aspx

I'm not sure if the Advance Power induction owners have seen this video showing an independent test of the kit:

Nice and accurate write up Lauren

I have one too, completed 4,000 miles and its used as a general workhorse / family car, tows the trailer very well too

Mind you my one has black leather, I couldn't stomach the beige!

1 massive improvement we have made is an addition of a tuning box which takes power to 190bhp and torque to just over 300 lb ft. I must say it really brings the Rav4 alive and it actually needs it's 4wd system on the exit of greasy roundabouts which adds to the fun

I must time it 0-60 and see ....

Fensport got a reaction from Stan Hawrylak in Avo Turbo 2015 New specs and prices
    Hi Stan,
an easy question ..... to ask lol

We haven't tested the stage 4 yet and the first 2 cars have forged engines but I reckon it would see over 420bhp on a stock engine on road fuel. Race fuel you could get over 500 easily and maybe much more ......... as to how long it would last ?

The weakest link is the rod so you have to be careful of cylinder pressures!

so yes upgrading the internals is a must for longevity

    Hi everyone,

Thought to start a thread where we can keep all the Avo news and info in one place

Starting off with some great news .... new pricing for 2015 has been announced, reducing prices by approx 10% making the kits even better value

Stage 1, Non Ceramic is £2799 + vat

    Stage 1, Ceramic is £2,999 + vat

Stage 3, Billet Ceramic is £3,349 + vat

Stage 4, Large Billet Ceramic is £3,699 + vat

Stage 1, is capable of 260 - 290 bhp depending mainly on exhaust flow and choice of actuator. A stock exhaust will be around 260 and a nice 2.5" exhaust will max out around 290bhp. Maximum flow for this turbo is 380bhp.

Stage 2,  is simply the same as stage 1, but adds a 3" exhaust for higher output, 280 - 320bhp is possible depending on tune. Maximum flow for this turbo is 380bhp.

Stage 3, uses a "Billet" compressor wheel in the same housing as stage 1, the billet wheel provides approx 20% increase in flow. We rate this set up as 280 - 440. This is the kit we used throughout 2014 on our GT86R, making 421bhp on stock engine and around 460 on a built engine. Maximum flow for this turbo is 470bhp.

Stage 4, uses a larger Billet compressor wheel and larger turbine wheel with internal changes to the turbo for increased flow. Also included is larger intercooler and up pipe. Rated at 400bhp upwards. We will be testing this early next year and our target is 520 - 550bhp.

Kit specifications are available on our website.

    Other Products

    Advised for all turbo kits:

    Breather System (199 + vat)

3 bar map Sensor & overboost fuel cut (89.95 + vat)

    Optional Upgrades for all kits:

Electronic Boost Control (150 + vat)
This includes the EBC valve, wiring and map upgrades using 10 custom race rom maps to allow closed loop boost control, boost is switchable via cruise control stalk and both throttle angle and gear dependant. Temperature safety maps are also included and boost is only allowed to increase if oil, water and air temps are within safe parameters.

    Dump Valve:
There are a few options here, you can use an OE recirculating type available for £20 off ebay/scrappy etc. Or we have the Avo polished alloy one which can be configured as recirculating (quiet) or as a 50/50 for the whoosh!

    High Capacity Air Intake Kit
Avo have developed their own airbox kit, crafted in carbon fibre and housing an induction type cone filter. The airbox includes a intake duct for cold air supply. More details soon.

    Exhausts:
Avo exhausts are available in 2.5" & 3" depending on power goals, they are also available with or without cat, with or without resonators depending on exhaust note required.

    Anything else?
Don't forget the stock clutch is all but useless when turbocharging, it is only just possible to use with the lowest spec turbo and even then its marginal! So factor in for an uprated clutch.

    Fitting Costs
Turbo Kit Basic - install and map £750 + vat
Turbo Kit + EBC, Clutch, Exhaust - install and map £995 + vat

We'll update this thread with further news, pics and specs as we get them

    Any questions fire away

These are HID ready. You remove the HID bulb, ballast and leveling motor from your standard light and fit them straight on to these ones. They come with instructions on how to do this

As soon as you plug the lights in using the main plug, all lights including the indicators will work. This is because the BRZ has indicators built in to the headlight casing as standard and obviously it's all the same wiring!

    Hi Guys,
We noticed that there doesn't seem to be much available in regards to an alternative solution to the standard GT86 headlights. Styling wise, every other panel and fixing seems to be available here in the UK except for the headlights!   After a bit of research we have sourced, tried and tested these lights from TopSage. TopSage have been a supplier of ours for a while and as you probably already know, we stock a lot of their interior and exterior carbon parts already.   These lights are E-marked, come with built in LED indicators and daylight running lights.   The 4 available styles are;   Chrome http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_108/Category_13/5021     ---   Chrome w/o LED ring http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_108/Category_13/5018     ---   Black http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_108/Category_13/5020     ---   Black Chrome http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_108/Category_13/5019     ---   For more photos visit the links above   Club Prices Chrome without LED ring - £452.52 inc. VAT All other styles with LED ring - £463.32 inc. VAT + Delivery.   With a set of these costing a lot less than the standard lights from Toyota and looking a lot more slick, it's a no brainer!    Cheers! Dan sales@fensport.co.uk

We will be stocking a Billet stage 3 CHRA (Central Housing Rotating Assembly) cost is £747 + vat

This allows you to easily upgrade stage 1 & 2 to stage 3 Billet and works out much the same price as have your old unit rebuilt but with the benefit of a brand new CHRA
