  1. Hi all, I am selling my Smoked Valenti Reverse / Fog Light. It is basically brand new, hasn't been used, only plugged in to see what it shows like (when I realised 3 LED's on the fog light don't illuminate). My parents ended up buying me a replacement one which I fitted a while back and I left it too late to send this one back as "faulty" and then forgot to list it for sale until now. I'm not sure if this is an easy fix as I'm not too technical when it comes to boards & potential soldering. This can be configured so the V comes on separately to the Fog Light. I bought this for £210 new from Fensport and am looking for £160 (due to the 3 LED's out) as it has never been used. I would much prefer collection / local sale only (around Grays or Colchester) due to issues I had using a postal service last time. Please see photos below:
  2. Hi all, Sorry if this has previously been answered but I'm a bit confused - my VLANDS headlights seem to have two settings for dipped beam, close distance and far distance. When driving on a road with no lights, the 'close distance' setting is basically worthless as you wouldn't see an animal running in front of you, but can be handy to keep lights low with on-coming traffic on a well lit road. The 'far distance' setting is so much better as you can see quite far which is great, without having main beam on. I seemed to have activated the 'far distance' setting by accident by flicking main beam on and off, but after a while it reverted back to the 'close distance' setting. I kept flicking main beam off and back on occasionally to see if it would change the setting again and it did a couple times, but other times it didn't...? Are the VLAND headlights meant to have two 'dipped beam' settings? And if so, does anyone know how to flick between them or stop them from reverting back to the 'close distance' setting? Appreciate any help on this - thanks

I am looking for £350 and would prefer collection / local sale only (around Grays or Colchester) due to the problems I had with a postal service last time and ended up delivering it myself. I am looking for £550, ideally collection only (as I had problems last time I tried to arrange postage for a guy who bought my rear lights) - unless you can arrange for pickup.     Blown Engine?

    Hi all, thanks for all of your replies and also sorry for the slow message in return, I'm not usually too active on the forums but had lots of things going on in my personal life that has taken over a bit recently...! As for an update, I have collected my car from Toyota Rayleigh and it is now back home on the drive feeling all sorry for itself, although it still looks amazing - I miss it so much, I sat in it the other day and I just wanted to take it out for a spin! Sorry, getting a bit carried away from the purpose of the reply. I didn't actually have the remap done myself, but I did think it would void my warranty - just thought it would be worth a try with Toyota anyway, perhaps should have got the remap removed before taking it straight there... As Nails suggested, I think I'm going to take the route of an engine swap all together and hope to turn this into a positive and be running some nice power. Staying away from the FA20 engine for now, then when the install is all sorted I can have a piss about with the FA20 in my own time and once it's rebuilt I can either keep it as a backup or sell it on. I run the engine on idol the other day and it sounds like a bag of nails, it's pretty nasty, and touching the throttle just makes the worst rattle / banging noise at the moment... I've no idea what I'm talking about in terms of engine noises, but I'm thinking it's more serious than injector or injector control as it's not just at higher revs, it's at all revs. If someone fancies having a little listen to it who understands engines more than me so you could perhaps share some light on what you think it may be, you'd be more than welcome to! I will obviously get around to finding out what the issue is at some point and then put another post up to let you all know. Meanwhile, the hunt for a nice engine setup begins... R.I.P to my bank!
