What was I worrying about?

Definitely worth it

Was in to see Richard at RRG Macc this morning. 
 
Got one of those new steering wheels that Fensport sell. Richard gave me the keys to his TRD for the day which already has the steering wheel and poly bush for the gearbox fitted. 
 
By the time I got to work, I was on the phone to him asking him to fit the poly bush gearbox mount as it makes quite a difference to the gear change. No problem he said! 
 
I've got to say the poly bush makes the gear change just so much more precise. It really does feel snickety snick when you change gear. A great mod and not expensive either. 
 
I do like the new steering wheel too. It's 350mm so 10mm less in diameter than standard, but it's just so much more comfortable to hold. It has sculpted sections for your hands so they rest much more comfortably on the wheel at quarter to three. Also it's a little bit thicker which I think helps too.

What a great little mod this is.The gear stick is rock steady now and when you are giving it the beans it is so positive.
Well worth the few pounds & ease of fitting.Very slight increase in noise from the gearbox but nothing of any real note.
Give me a shout and i will do free fitting on this.£39.47 inc vat.

New toy has arrived,time to play me thinks! 

Ive just ordered a Roadhawk HD,thought it was time to get some vids posted.   

You can be the first retail customer in the UK Keith,i will make sure of that,after the delivery of my Demonstrator obviously  .Just to let you know,
the general managers were in Belin last week at a meeting.Akio Toyoda was present & drove into the meeting in his racing overalls & wait for it a race version of the GT86  .He apparently gave a passionate & inspiring speech on the future of Toyota and his passion for racing so watch this space for future developments.
