I too had power concerns when taking the plunge with my GT86. My previous car was a Boxster S which needless to say was much quicker, especially with mid range performance, so I thought that this loss in power when changing would grate on me after a while. But I hasn't, in fact I could never go back! The drive and feel of the GT86 is addictive, and is by far the funnest car I've had. Take the plunge 

James, yet again you seem to have an unerring knack for upsetting everyone. 
 
I think this is because for the most part you don't have the knowledge you think you have. You haven't proved anyone wrong with your water/methanol injection (its not'meth' btw and we are not American). It gave a small but significant gain, that is all. 
 
But then to claim that it now cools the oil as well is just absolute rubbish and that is, I think your problem, you just for some reason are unable to take any critique, you then take it personally and the next thing you are making threats. This will not be tolerated. 
 
I'm also not impressed with your conduct. Very unprofessional IMO.

I reckon straight orange would give the boldest look, but intersted to see what you come up with!

Alloys are on the cards orange and black of course, Im just having to save up some coins to get them. 

Maybe the question should be, why haven't you got a cover over your atlernator, Stephen!
 
All GT86's have it. Not sure about BRZ's.

Twin charging is really very little gain for great expense. Just not worht it, though people will do it just because they can, not because it makes sense. 

Well, I didn't do any measurements but looked simply like a different damper and nothing else. 

Well a supercharger has less lag so it makes it easier to balance mid-corner.

Car is done so I'll be at Croft this weekend after all. They worked a late shift to get the brakes fitted last night. New cam plate fitted so oil leak sorted too.

One observation... fired it up, exhaust note gone, same sound as oem!! Should sail through Saturday's noise test :-)

Yep, fair enough. Last year in the UK the temperature was barely under 5C and at 5C winter tyres aren't that good, just IMO. It needs to be closer to freezing in my experience which was for about five days last winter. 
 
But, it was a very mild winter so we shall see. 

I have the Yoko Winter Drives on stock rims in stock sizes.
 
Last winter when I had them on it just wasn't cold enough, so my advice is to maybe get the tyres but wait and see if the weather is looking to go through a cold snap as otherwise they can be a bit of a liability in higher temps.

team dynamics pro race 1.2 would probably be a cheaper option, but they're just not TRD!

It was the usual 'jam-custard' imbalance issue, but Alex was able to eventually use his 'sailor' powers to bring things back to equilibrium.

Koul at that price I might be interested, need to see what happens with the Fiesta as it might be going.
