Quball 60 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 So I thought it was time to create a small blog on the BRZ, with any updates although it will be slow its better than nothing, as I also have a slow moving classic mini project on the go too. So now on with the BRZ, 62 Plate Black (with Toyota roof, bonnet, boot, stripes in silver) Manual leather and Alcantara seats Radio that looks like it came out of a transit van Ex demo from Carstins Balsall Common now unity automotive. Who added the 18'' Prodrive alloys, a Milltek system and the KW 3 way adjustable coilovers Nothing really to report as yet but never the less, here are the pictures from the ad from when it was for sale See what I mean about the radio? They did fit a front lip on too but they took it off because they kept scrapping and chipping it, here are a few pics Keith (Keethos) took that he's allowed me to use previously. Mark Riccioni also had borrowed the car before I purchased to do a photo shoot and a review on the car pics can be found around the internet or on my facebook page. I'll post a couple of my personal favorite shots. The rest of the shots on my page are on the following link. http://www.facebook.com/BRZQu/media_set?set=a.103624996508909.1073741844.100005842264360&type=3 So now on with the ownership...... Just a couple of photo's after I had the car now. Ill leave it there as you get the idea...Now I wasn't going to make any changes other than what was there but the last few months thought's Idea's and such like have been running through the mind and looks like Ill be making changes after all but will be a slow progress as Ive mentioned its all down to the coins. So first thing was first the aerial it had to go, so I got myself a beat sonic fin and fitted it. Looks so much better don't you think? That was it until a week or two ago then I had a package arrive and these were my eyelids need a better picture and they look better further away then they do close up. as far as it is thats pretty much it other than valet's mini details and such so for now one last picture after a clean. Well Ok I lie I had some changes done 3/10/2014 but Im not going to cram it all in the opening post. 1 Keethos reacted to this
CHOSENMAN007 81 Report post Posted October 5, 2014 Looks good like it.. Does the brz not come with a touch screen stereo? Or is it an option?
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted October 6, 2014 Looks good, but the eyelids are just a massive no, sorry.
Quball 60 Report post Posted October 6, 2014 you get a better radio in them now they offered to put it in for me for a grand extra once it was available which I swiftly turned down. Anyway I suppose I best update this with what I went to RRG for... Its taken me an age to decide which colour combination I was going to aim for and one day it just came into my head from looking inside the car and so anyway...Im just going to let the pictures do the talking....Granted it won't be to everyones taste but I personally love it they got it spot on when I spoke to Richard and told him what I was after. The Pics still not the greatest weather is pants. Better Side view This next shot shows the colour pretty much as it is, its one of those that looks different in different lighting. I know stripes aren't everyones cup of tea all over but my silver ones grew on me, I just wanted to be abit different 1 Keethos reacted to this
Keethos 842 Report post Posted October 6, 2014 Looks awesome mate, I do like the colour combo! I bet Faith will absolutely love this
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 I think the orange on black is an excellent combination. You just need some nice orange wheels now. I'm guessing the side stripe is photoshopped as it's at an angle?
rob275 1817 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 The coloured stripes suit it, but as Lauren says, did they fit them on a slanted surface? as the side definitely isn't straight!
nikndel 509 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 no its for when you part on a incline but as lauren says it would look wicked with matching wheels!
nikndel 509 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 no its for when you part on a incline but as lauren says it would look wicked with matching wheels! Park not part sorry!
Keethos 842 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 Isn't it just following the under sill rather than the shut lines that makes it look off angle?
Quball 60 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 Alloys are on the cards orange and black of course, Im just having to save up some coins to get them. 1 Lauren reacted to this
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 I reckon straight orange would give the boldest look, but intersted to see what you come up with! 1 KevinA reacted to this
Quball 60 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 Im in two minds if to post up the alloys I was thinking, because this is probably the 5th set ive considered granted it's the first orange and black seeing as I didn't have a colour scheme in mind for the first few. Won't be till next year now till I change over the alloys though.

Quball 60 Report post Posted January 7, 2015 Looked at them for a while but always thought, I'll hold off, but a random spur of the moment purchase at 6am monday morning changed that.. The flasher unit was a dog to get into. I didn't get any pics of that as it was far to cold for me to be messing around, I should of stayed at work and fitted them in one of the heated units. So that's the lights done.
Keethos 842 Report post Posted January 7, 2015 That is awesome dude, really goes with the black and orange look me thinks!
Quball 60 Report post Posted January 28, 2015 Only a small change, I need to get a new one for the front it was being an arse, but it will do for now. Also ordered another new addition tonight but I'm not expecting that to arrive for 2/3 weeks. 2 Lauren and Keethos reacted to this
Quball 60 Report post Posted February 28, 2015 again only small steps, but with a couple of pictures. So after a 4 week wait my alloy's have now officially arrived and they are sat right next to my desk...for the time being, need to get some tyres and want some orange if possible lug nuts, any recommendations on where to get them? or what make to go for? The silver ones they sent with my wheels look nasty. Anyway 3 pictures in the meantime. 3 Keethos, GT86-Ian and Lauren reacted to this
