No got the car back and was at good wood players today! Exhaust sounds and doesn't have that normal scooby tone! But may be due to centre exit.
Guy is making a big for the exhaust system and will Be jigged for twin exit like the oem exhaust.
Also includes a specific J pipe to each exhaust to get rid of motorway drone and over run drone.
Also his making a jig for manifold 2.5/3" so also be for sale.
Will Upload video if I can
Picture updates:

loving the painted interior. Was it expensive to get done?

Yes it was a bit but I'd rather pay more for a good job.

They don't sit over the plastic knobs, you pull the plastic ones off. Or at least the ones I looked at did anyway.

Gringosteve reacted to CGR Automotive in Exhaust Development Car Wanted
Just to be clear the two rear boxes are technically resonators, we just call them silencers as we only build highly effective straight through resonated silencers.
Fingers crossed we'll have the system fitted to the car in the next few weeks or so and will try both set-ups with 2 and 3 silencers, there's always scope to make them bigger and smaller depending on customer needs so there'll definitely be an option for everyone
-
Gringosteve reacted to CGR Automotive in Exhaust Development Car Wanted
This will be a louder option however we build all our own silencers so they're very well packed and suppress quite a lot of noise for how compact they are, there's plenty of room to fit another silencer in the centre-pipe if that's what some customers would rather go for.
I'll get a video of one of the 370Z systems we do which had basically 4 boxes of similar size to the ones pictured and was spot on for what the customer wanted, not too loud at all with minimal cabin noise when cruising but gave a noise but not too loud when opened up, there was plenty of room to still make it louder and that's a 320bhp 3.7litre V6.
We'll be offering various options to cater for different noise levels too so we can make them to your exact specifications

Gringosteve reacted to pwrout in Carbing Titanium Strut Brace
youre literally chatting so much shit. Ive no problem with meeting someone half way for a sale. I offered to measure the brace for him and sent pictures etc. Im not going to drive all that way for someone to test fit a brace and if it doesnt fit to not sell it. Thats bad business and a complete waste of money and time.. ask nengun if they will fly to you and let you test fit their products.
And for your statement about explaining to people what makes it special? You either are into high end Japanese parts and know a brand like carbing + know titanium is strong but barely ways anything or you dont? Someone that lacks that interest for having rare quality Japanese parts isn't going to care even if i explain it. They will always see it as a strut brace and be happy with a 50 quid one from any brand. The main selling point is light weight and the aesthetics as well as knowing its carbing. I can imagine 90% of members would not care about that.
Ive sold plenty of bits on here to people and apart from one person everything went smoothly.
met a few lovely people that are on this forum, some real twats though with nothing better to do.
Can a mod delete all this crap so it can go back to a normal sale thread?
£300 posted to UK. Bargain.

Gringosteve reacted to smudge in Smudge's supercharged V8 build
Another busy day was spent taking out the interior, test fitting the bucket seats, creating a mount for the 5 strap on my harnesses to bolt onto and obviously continuing with the engine
Seat just about fits!
Engine mounts are finished and sent off to the powder-coaters to be made a little prettier.
Gearbox mount is also finished, you can see where we've used the original mounts that we chopped off and welded back into the tunnel a bit further back for the BMW box.
Both the OEM and BMW box have the same mount for the shifter, just needs to be made a little longer due to the BMW box being around 2 inches shorter
So engine block and gearbox are all mounted in position, next was to start drawing up ideas for the location and mounting point of the supercharger, oil reservoir and lines for the charger, inlet and outlet pipes for the supercharger and routing for pipes for air filter and intercooler
Nev and Lee will be continuing to work hard on the car over the next few weeks and I'll be popping in whenever I can to help out and get updates. All coming together nicely!

Gringosteve reacted to Deacon in Two really good articles on air filters
Came across these articles recently which test a variety of airfilters and induction kits. Interesting results and seem to show how important a tune is to get the best out of any mods.

Good to see some decent empirical testing done.

Gringosteve got a reaction from Keethos in Gyeon Wet coat
Long term the car wash variant of this stuff works better. Wash your car with your usual shampoo, and then once rinsed wipe on the Gyeon shampoo neat with a wet sponge a panel at a time and rinse immediately - it's messy if you let it dry or cook in the sun.
This way the effect lasts much much longer and you can get epic shine
