Hi All, I'm based in Trowbridge in WIltshire - got my '12 Pearl White 86 about 6 weeks ago; absolutely adore it. I was eyeing up modifications of my own even before I found the car, so I was thrilled when I was able to actually make a few little changes of my own! I actually work in Culham near Oxford, so if there's anybody between here and there - I've probably seen you! I've also decided to keep my Mazda 6 as the workhorse - I've not tried to see how many fence panels one can get in the 86; but I don't think its many. As I said, I've made a few little mods so far; an FT86 UEL manifold (catted), Milltek overpipe - I've got a Milltek catback in my cupboard - and just making a decision about which frontpipe to opt for (I'm considering the Berk (catted) one at the moment), but we'll see. I'll write a proper post about these bits another time - but in the meantime I thought I'd just write to say hello - and look forward to listening and contributing to discussions on here! It was purely out of convenience tbh, TD are a good 4.5 hour drive from me where as Abbey are only 1.25. That and I bought it on Black Friday so it didn’t cost me any more. As for what it’s like, it’s pretty loud at full throttle but not too bad around town. That being said I briefly had the non-res version (with the TD manifold) and that was silly loud.

I might pop along to this as a spectator, so I'll look out for you all.

Ooo interesting, sounds like the re-tune is on the rich side and could be effecting them, or they don't have enough scrubbing power for that richness. I'm FI.

Yes, I have asked coach and horses if they can accommodate our group. As soon as they confirm will change the venue. Its a shame when decent places go bad, happened to my family favourite pizza place, and they went out of business shortly afterwards when people stopped going. I've eaten at the coach and horses they were very helpful when we wanted a jacket potato and a spoon for one of the girls (to do mash) and they made the mash for us and it wasn't too hot and very creamy) haven't eaten at the orange tree. If you've got any of the 2mm matting left over, it's well worth chucking a bit in the spair wheel well. I had a bit of grief with exhaust drone (after fitting a cobra non-res catback) and found that it was ultimately down to the boot floor transmitting the noise into the cabin.
