TD Catback exhaust group Buy?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys just wondering if anyone would be interested in a TD catback exhaust group Buy. As there are a few people in the local Midlands 86 chat wanting them as far as I could tell ( including me).

Just wondering what interest there is, so maybe we can get a little cheeky discount

Cheers

Group buy details:

Resonated CAT Back:

RRP: £576.00

5 of: £546.00

10 of: £499.00

Non-Resonated CAT Back:

RRP: £480.00

5 of: £456.00

10 of: £438.00

We'll allow a mix between the two systems, ie 6 resonated & 4 non-resonated we'll do the price for 10 of. What we'll also do is for those that are interested, we'll put aside a Saturday and can install all systems at the workshop for you FOC :) People can have a natter to us, have a nosy round and we'll have our car here too if people want passenger rides and so forth :)

We'll need some deposits in order to start making the run of systems, £99.00 with the balance on the day.

Names below!

1. Samsss - Resonated

2.

3. SimonB95 - Resonated

4. Paul - Resonated

5. willfmair - Resonated

6. Chappers - Resonated

7. Shiv86 - Resonated

Thanks

Mike

I'll go in if you get them to slash the tips a little more aggressively for that batch. Not to poke someone's eyes out, just in line with the Cobra tips.

That's what made me go with the Cobra in the end, don't like straight cut :(

I'm potentially interested in a resonated one for the right price.

What would the dB reading be for a resonated one be (UEL manifold but otherwise stock exhaust)?   It's 84dB for me now (with just the UEL header), and would like to keep it under 90 so I can still be admited at  Thruxton.

Adi - off topic, but when are you planning to go to Thruxton?

I would also be interested in db reading for the future though.

All - dumb question- with TD (or another aftermarket) manifold, if you go with this how do you deal with MOT? I am sure there is an answer on the forum, but thought this may be a place to ask.

If you keep the stock second cat in, in the midpipe thing, then it will pass.

If you're wanting no more than 90Db I think your only option will be to retain the stock exhaust i'm afraid. :)

Mike, what would be the expected volume for a non res cat back and then a second decat pipe on top of that?
