rob275 1817 Report post Posted October 27, 2016 @Ade Yes they are solid, admittedly on the box the picture shows bolted discs similar to the website. Perhaps they have changed design or it is indeed a bit of a development kit that I have. The calipers are alumimium indeed.

Shame red won't go with your blue wheels In the process of sourcing some new wheels anyway and they will be painted Nardo Grey and my stripe will be coming off. Seems silly to have the calipers a different colour when the anodised red on them is actually pretty nice

I suspect its an STI brembo disc, dual drilled for 5x114 and 5x100. 51 minutes ago, smudge said: Welcome to the 362mm club! rob275 1817 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 Oddly bumped in to @maurice at Motorline Toyota Gatwick this morning whilst dropping the car in for it's 4th Service. @Leosille I think i'm going to try and do them next weekend if you're about.

rob275 1817 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 indeed, told them about mine as well. I did forget to give Toyota a hks filter though so my service is only being half done
surrey86 352 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 Yeah. Having two 86's in at the same time with coilpack codes is good timing.
S18 RSG 429 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 My coilpack codes seem to always show up on a Friday, then clear by the Monday. Last time I went in they said "unless the code is there, we can't do the work". I think next time it's up I'm just gonna head straight there.
surrey86 352 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 I've not used Toyota software, but on my 2005 Bmw it stored every code with a mileage stamp forever. Even if the light has gone off I'm sure it surely must be stored in the history!
rob275 1817 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 I can confirm they are stored regardless of whether the light is on or not. My P3 gauge displays it every time i turn the car on.
surrey86 352 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 I've the P3 aswell, but wasn't sure if it was recalling them. Just had the call, they aren't replacing them, just swapping them around. Basically a fob off

Giving them a week then i'm calling the head office up to complain.
surrey86 352 Report post Posted November 3, 2016 Sounds like they had a productive day! That's just lazy. Pretty obvious if my car is putting out the same code on the gauge on start-up it's not related to a remap. I guess I'll be down there again after the next track day with another brace of codes.
