Squadrone Rosso 82 Report post Posted March 6, 2016 Loved this. Confirmed as the final production exterior with interior soon to be finalised. Promised to be equally sharp & striking. Due in the UK late 16 / early 17. Would make a great partner for the 86. Cheers, Simon
LarmiqGt 49 Report post Posted March 6, 2016 I actually quite like this. On the prius I think they messed up, not bad Toyota.
Squadrone Rosso 82 Report post Posted March 6, 2016 The Prius is very distinctive & futuristic. Not a car for me. The C-HR is stunning. 1 Foulsmell reacted to this
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted March 6, 2016 Not sure about this. Very fat arse. Of what they showed at Geneva I thought the Renault Scenic was quite slick... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

GT86-Ian 351 Report post Posted March 7, 2016 Like the look of it but its very Honda at the back & Citroen front.
Keethos 842 Report post Posted March 7, 2016 Looks ok, agree with Ian, Honda rear but I'd say the 2nd pic makes it look like a Megane on steroids. This supposed to be a sports crossover thingy?

Riceburner 284 Report post Posted March 23, 2016 Toyota are expecting this to really sell in big numbers and so are we as dealers. The crossover segment is growing all the time and is important for TGB as they are aiming for 60-70% conquest sales. 1 Test Drives Unlimited reacted to this
Steeps 294 Report post Posted March 23, 2016 Need to see some inside shots. Can't see it being that popular with some families as the rear windows are tiny!
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted March 23, 2016 Exactly. Why the trend for tall vehicles with crap visibility? That car is entirely made of arse. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Tareim reacted to this
Test Drives Unlimited 278 Report post Posted March 23, 2016 I actually like the look of it as it's very bold design for Toyota Sent from my Archos 53 Platinum using Tapatalk
long-gone 152 Report post Posted March 24, 2016 I think it's growing on me, though maybe it'll be a bit evoque-esque - a bit different and edgy. The first one or two I saw I really liked, but soon became bored with them. A victim of their own success/popularity.
Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted March 24, 2016 I saw a new Prius today down at RRG. Now that's an interesting one, as I hated it in photographs, but in the metal I rather like it. Very futuristic. And couldn't be anything but Japanese. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Squadrone Rosso reacted to this
Squadrone Rosso 82 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 Had a good look at one at FRF Swansea yesterday. Hugely impressed, completely reinforcing my "affordable car of the show" at Geneva this year. Stunning to look at, inside & out. Very sporty stance, ditto driving position. Very decent boot & reasonable space in the rear when set for my driving position. Not cheap though & engine choices a bit strange / limited but overall, loved it. 1 Keethos reacted to this
surrey86 352 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 I saw it at the dealers on Thursday and thought it was pretty nice. The interior also looks quite good.
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 I really like the look of it too, though I've yet to see one in the flesh. I was, though a little dissapointed at the lack of a more performance orientated model, with the top one seeming to be the Prius engine and hybrid setup. surrey86 352 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 The Autocar article I read on it yesterday suggested the standard turbo petrol was by far the best drive - the hybrid's weight quite noticeable and had grabby brakes.

A 1.2 turbo though. Woeful performance.
Subota Boy 402 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 Had this 1.2 turbo manual for a drive-about yesterday. Felt very nippy for a 1.2 and roadholding and steering were surprisingly good. 10 secs to 60 but it seemed livelier (not run in properly either) Visibility from the back seats was also a lot better than expected. One of these may be on the shopping list to replace the Legacy! 6 Deacon, surrey86, Tom B and 3 others reacted to this
Keethos 842 Report post Posted December 14, 2016 I saw one pull out from RRG Macclesfield last week from a distance and initially thought it was a Civic Type R then realised that it was this. Had a closer look in the showroom and I took like the looks of it both inside and out, a mix between a Civic, Evoke and classic Rav4 front. Didn't test drive one though so can't comments on the 1.2 turbo. Sent from my EDI-AL10 using Tapatalk 1 Squadrone Rosso reacted to this
