Hey @Lauren as you helped me find out my 86 is seriously basic, I've decided to name it the Mk 1. Sounds collectable that way and helps deflect from the many potential faults and non-fitting mods I may encounter.

@Leonard - checked on the event; it just says setting off once everyone has eaten breakfast 😅
Guess that means the set off time is fairly relaxed.

I've had it history checked, no crashes, only 27k on the clock. 2012 originated in Oz. Thats all I know! 
I'm exploring this out of interest but I'm so happy with it I'm not too worried. Just hope I can plug n play new headlights when I upgrade them. 

Guys 100% going now, and I've got 6 mates coming too in their various projects. They're getting there at 8.30am to get good spots but I'll be joining later as saturday is a sesh.

You would be welcome to have a look! I know weve identified some strange differences but its made me love it more. Its unique! 
The speedo is in KMph and the odometer is also in KMph. 😆😆 
The digital bit of OFF and I think they removed the fuse when it arrived in the UK. my plan is to replace the whole console so I can have MPH on the digital read. 
I think I'll attend the meet in the peaks next week! I'd like to meet to guys to ask millions of mod questions..

@Leonard, when we next have a Yorkshire meet, if you can come over, I'd love to look at your car to see all the AUS/UK differences. Hopefully we'll have a meet again in the not too distant future. 👍

Hey fella.  That’s exactly what I will be going for, VLAND up front and VALENTI on the rear.  From the videos and photos I’ve seen they make a huge improvement to the car in way of looks.  

Well that's mixed news. I've heard about the valve springs on these models, I'll look into that. 
Yes the AC is manually operated. Has anyone on here got an aussie import? I'm sure I've seen one in the garages on either this forum or the other. 
Looks like new headlights will be a beauty of a project!!
