Made a bit of progress today, will continue tomorrow.
I'm mounting the traction fluid cooler behind the intercooler and having the engine oil cooler on the other side of the IC.

You will need to stack atleast one on top so get something to protect the faces like a towel

Yes, if you stack them they should just fit. It will be tight though.

Have a look at the Flex A's as well if you're going Tein. They have a special bump stop and are supposed to give a super comfortable ride but still handle really well.

    Hi!

10 days from seeing the ad to picking up the car! EU import from Malta super bargain first owner with delivery mileage.
Already love it, but it needs mats, mudflaps and the Toyota armrest immediately!

Will be keeping it stock for the first year and will then consider slight lowering and perhaps something like Rota Grids!

The Barca run is very tempting! No timed road sections though Keith, it's more of a jolly up with some expensive cars, expansive bars and a load of nutters!

Can't wait for tomorrow to get he car a ready

Nothing like last minute preparation eh?!

I cannot agree more, Lauren. To have adjustable active suspension, in cockpit, for the cost of Tein EDFC is astonishing.

Dunno about Streetflex Z - is that what GT86 Ian has just had fitted? (Yes it is - just seen his reply..)

And I see that BAE are now putting active suspension on Chieftan tanks... to save maintenance costs, no less!  F1 technology for (ex) Tower Hamlets Mayoral transport...?

you can fit the EDFC Active Pro system to the Streetflex Z not that Tein have any in stock.

I really like my Tein Streetflex with EDFC Active Pro. It will run rings round a standard car. Improvement in ride quality and they've been faultless in over 25K miles.

The new Streetflex Z which are non-rebuildable seem like an absolute bargain tbh. They are liking them on the US forums.

I'm running MeisterR ZetaR Coilovers and have no problems with them. They're comfy and feel fantastic.

I'll probably upgrade to either the HKS Hypermax or Tein eventually. But for value for money the Meisters are brilliant.

Since I first saw this advertised back in September 2014, I've been gearing up to take part in Pure Rally UK which is essentially a scaled down version of the Gumball Rally for the UK.

    http://www.purerally.co.uk/

This involves a gruelling journey of over 1,000miles in just 4 days up and down the UK, broken up by go karting, parties every night and a full team of staff to ensure you're experience is the best it can be.

Starting from Ace Café in West London on Friday 1st May, we then venture to:

    Cardiff
    Manchester (2nd May)
    Edinburgh (3rd May)
and back to London (4th May)

Luckily I'll have a co-driver to share some of the driving, but nevertheless it's still a heck of a journey!

The car is currently being serviced at Abbey Motorsport to ensure she's all good to go for her 1,000 mile tour. Baring in mind that I don't even do 1,000 miles in a month, this is very different to the norm for my car. I'm have no doubts it'll be a stroll in the park for the GT86, but with the likes of Aston Martin V12's, BMW M5's, Porsche 911's and a bunch of other insanely quick cars, she will be tested along the way.

So, I thought I'd make a little "diary" of my experience. I know the guys that run it really well and this is their biggest year by far. But with plans for another 3 UK rallies in 2015, a London to Paris to Barcelona run and possibly an American Rally in 2016, these events will just get bigger and better.

I'll be updating this later on in the week with the car all stickered up and ready to go and then making updates along the way (when I manage to...) so you can all keep a lookout for me or any of the other Pure Rally cars over the weekend.

I'm doing this with 3 of my closest friends and we've all put a lot of time, effort and money into making sure we do this in style

Ha yes we took a load of Mini's there on the Sunday, we didn't do the Saturday for some reason.  If it wasn't for us ending up going out on the track most of us would have left after an hour as it was dead.

I'm not going to reveal the final colour choice just yet, however this is how the wheel would look in its current silver form:

A few of us had a little meet yesterday at the AV8 cafe, Cotswold Airport. The usual South West suspects but it was great to see some new cars and faces too. The cafe is a little hard to find, plus it was grey, cold and windy... but well worth it as the breakfast (and company) was cracking.

Attached are some photos of everyone getting a good sniff of Craig's car and all six motors lined up next to our mates lovely GTR.

    Cheers all for coming out!

I've ordered a flash and go tune from delicious tuning in the states, a omni 3 bar map sensor from fensport, and a mishimoto thermostatic oil cooler from partbox. Plan to fit my supercharger plus all the other bits I have laying around on Monday 4th may.

    SPL rear camber arms
    Whiteline camber bolts
    Sti guerney flap
    Trd canards
    Whiteline roll centre adjustment bushes
    RacersX baffled sump
    Hks v2 supercharger

Should be a different car altogether after that

Just looking through your photostream on Flickr, did you go to that awful car show at Rockingham last year? Looks like you were parked right next to where we were, though we had left by midday the first day it was so shit.

    Wheel Time

So its time for another update, this ones is a bit more tasty.  After a lot of deliberation around wheels for the past 3 weeks, with me sending a 101 photoshops to Rich@Orranje Performance, I finally decided on a set of wheels.  Having fitted Japanese wheels, Volks CE28n's to my german MINI Clubman, I thought now I have a Japanese car, its time for a set of Germans wheels.  Always wanting to try something different, I have gone for something different to what you normally see on the GT86 and hopefully I have made the right choice.

So today after a road trip to Wembley, I am the proud owner of a set of BBS RSii's which are a two piece wheel 18x8 et 33.  The previous owner had these are a rather nice Audi TT and has just had them refurbished however me being me, I am not content with just sticking them on the car.  So they are split down and ready to go to the powder coaters for something a bit special.  I also need to decide if I want to reuse the bolts  and polish them up or go for some new ones.  A new set of BBS centre will be ordered in complimentary colour.  Time for some pictures:

Next up are coilovers to get the car sitting a little lower and I also need to decide on which tyres to wrap around these wheels, I am thinking 225 40 18 but not sure on brand just yet.
