Collateral got a reaction from Mike@TD.co.uk in What front pipe and Manifold to have?
Good stuff!
Yep my Scorpion system fits the stock front pipe, I may have to have a look on your website.

If the rest of your exhaust is stock, no reason why it wouldn't match up.
Also +1 for the TD package.

They're all basically modular do you should be fine - ask @Mike@TD.co.uk

Our exhaust parts are designed to fit with the stock items. So long as your CAT Back fits on a stock car, it should be compatible with our parts.
Our manifold works well and we're very busy with removing torque dips currently
Thanks

The TD manifold and overpipe package would get my money - proven gains time and again.

Next up, brake upgrade.
I have gone for EBC USR Series slotted and vented discs all round, with EBC Greenstuff pads.
Toyota wanted £790 for crappy OEM pads and discs that squeel like hell, so this made sense.

I've been working through a few bulbs recently, these are what I've fitted so far:
Front & Rear Indicators - Bulbs

Reverse - LEDs

These are on order, I hope they will fit:
Boot Interior & Plate - LEDs

Essential maintenance this time, none of your frivolous modding rubbish
New Stoptech pads and Goodridge SS lines all round. I don't know what pad combo the PO was running but I wasn't impressed by the bite or how quickly they started to fade. Much happier today on the spirited ride home. Looking at the good condition of the lines which came off, I suspect the pads have more to do with the performance improvement than anything else. Very pleased.
I also took the yolks out of the fried eggs, front and back. i did try LEDs first but they weren't kicking out the light output I was expecting, so they'll do as spares.
No pics but I also had some camber bolts fitted up front, a geo and a super pro gearbox mount insert fItted. This last bit of maintenance has raised a small buzz in the cockpit, nothing noticeable with the tunes on, but has tightened up shifting nicely.
All in all some pleasing maintenance making her feel just that little bit sharper all around.

Yep. Read up well before you do it. I did mine with zero experience and as long as you choose products that are not too abrasive then you can't go wrong.

I wouldn't learn on my car, but a black bonnet from a scrappy can't be that hard to find!

Thanks mate, I'll chuck you a PM.
I know I'm not holding much hope but you never know! I'd love to learn, I feel on my GT wouldn't be the best starting place.

I paid more than £150 in Blackpool for a single stage correction, good luck in West London. If you wanna save the cash, you'd be better picking up a second hand DA and learning.

Very nice,
I have had a Scorpion exhaust (cat back) installed, I agree with the deeper but not too loud tone.
Just about perfect in my eyes!

I'm starting to think it's a quirk of the car. My offside rear pad squeaks when the brakes are not on. As I've had it before and it was sintered bit of pad, I've opted not to worry about it. It is quite annoying though!

Collateral got a reaction from Adam9 in The Exhaust Thread
So yesterday I had installed a cat back Scorpion exhaust, resonated.
The exhaust itself looks great, the sound is very subtle!
At low revs to rumbles, at high revs it doesn't get too loud and it doesn't have any drone.
What I will say is if you're looking for a loud exhaust then this one isn't for you, it's much louder than stock, but can go quiet at points.
I personally love it Picture attached from behind

Looks great, a video would be good if you get a chance so we can hear it too.

There is a really good alloy wheel post on here, if you scroll down you can click on pretty much any size, width and offset combination and it'll take you to a post with a picture of how it looks.
