    Hi Kieron,
We'll be completing our GT86/BRZ development exhaust next week and could offer a system with a centre silencer mounted on a set of v-bands which would take 5 minutes to swap.
Means you can go out on a weekend with a louder system than through the week and it would be a dead easy job to swap them over

Oakmere have recently been in touch regarding their current demonstrator, which looks great in red!

H&R Lowering Springs again along with our resonated CAT Back Exhaust to spruce things up. Looks and sounds brilliant

This is surely going to be the same on the GT86, but interesting nonetheless!

I've merged Deacon's thread into this one. Let's please try and keep one thread for the 2017 update.

Somewhere in the 15-20bhp region at the top end, but that's not the real benefit. It's the flattened torque curve that really makes the difference. Pulls right through the Rev range now. Feels like a 200bhp sportscar now which it didn't really before... :-)

So finally - time for an update. For his first birthday Bob has had a bit of an overhaul...
    So we have...
    - remap, filter,UEL manifold and overpipe (thanks Tuning Developments)
    - Bilstein B14 coilovers (fitted and aligned by RRG - cheers Richard)
    - Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s in 18x8 with Yokohama rubber
    - Black badges (not fitted the side ones yet...)
This was never about building a track warrior but more about a slightly better road car. A GT86 'S' perhaps. So we have a slightly sharper looking 86 with a few extra horses, nice woofly exhaust note, no torque dip, grippy tyres, and a flatter but less jittery ride.
Proper review on the Bilsteins once I've had a proper try out but so far I'm very happy with them. Currently as high as they go, but want to see where they settle first.
In fact am very happy indeed

Just get new gaskets from Toyota if not under warranty or go one better and spend £30 and get the complete kit with neoprene gaskets and sealant from gaaketninja. Job done.

No idea yet but remember this isn't a newly built engine like the last one was, she's got 53k miles on her with all the standard internals. These V8's are fairly bullet proof up to about 600bhp so in theory I should be able to boot it as soon as we've got the mapping sorted.
Then again we still need to run in the new diff which apparently consists of driving in a figure of 8 for 30mins and then doing an oil change on it...

Been a bit quiet recently, but that doesn't mean no progress!
This is where we're at so far:
Engine built Manual gearbox adapter plate finished BMW 6 speed gearbox mounted to the engine Engine and gearbox mounts finalised and powder coated Rotrex supercharger mount made Upgraded driveshafts (capable of 600bhp) fitted Kaaz 1.5 way differential fitted into OEM diff housing OEM propshaft cut down to size Injector looms made and ECU almost finished We are almost there! We're just finishing off the ECU connections to the dash, pipework for the supercharger and waiting for the chargecooler to arrive as well. Not much left to do before we start her up for the first time
Also picked up my front bumper after having the holes in the number plate filled in and a full respray to get rid of all the stonechips I've picked up. Local bodyshop did an amazing job as always. I was tempted to take the whole car there to get everything done but it's not a priority right now

Test fitting the new coloured badge which has been sitting in the garage since I had the interior sprayed

Wouldn't even be able to tell there were holes in the bumper previously

We're still aiming to have her completed for a show on 26th June...time is tight but we're still confident

Oh I forgot my SSDs in the workstation are 120GB Intel normal datacenter and one 800GB read intensive datacentre.
I do a lot of high scale infrastructure. Was testing out bonded dual 10Gb cards. Testing ZFS with deduplication and using the 800GB as a read cache. Testing out Scylladb and for my own stuff http://ticketscale.io I need a high throughput test machine.

Luckily the GT86 has a lot of interior parts which would benefit a lot from some custom paintwork (dash trim pieces etc.).
Be interested to see what you could do with them.
