Nice write up Lauren but as said above it’s getting very expensive at £31k lots of other cars at this price point. I was speaking to Richard a while back and we both think Toyota should be listing these as an option on the standard GT86 as well as other bolts on parts that would retain a warranty much like Mountune.
Sales are slow and used cars seem to take ages to sell, Toyota selling parts along the lines of Toyota Gazoo Racing would increase sales as Toyota have won the WRC manufactures award giving lots of exposure in the media.

    Update 13/11/18 - Bedford Trackday
On the 5th of November I joined several other members of the club at Bedford Autodrome. My plan for the day was to shakedown/test the new exhaust, oil cooler & Verus aero components. And myself as I hadn't done a track day in over a year, due to one reason or another.
First challenge of the day, the dreaded noise test. I knew the new exhaust was quieter than the last setup but I wasn't sure by how much, the static test hit 89db's. However I passed the static test last time, but failed the drive by, by about 2db's. Considering I had also removed the factory 2nd cat and replaced it with a 200 race cat with resonator, I was still alittle unsure about the drive by.
The good news is this time I didn't have any issues with the exhaust passing Bedfords rather strict drive by limit , obvious they don't tell you how much noise it actually makes unless you fail.
The Hel oil cooler managed to keep on top of the oil temps, the highest I hit was 115°c this was after several warm laps. (I wasn't pushing during the day)
Here's some footage from the day, audio is recorded by an external microphone by the exhaust:

Collected my car today from Rogue Motorsport after having a few bits done including a custom airbox for the HKS filter to prevent the heat soak it suffered being an open filter. The box is wrapped in heat protective material on the bottom half and after an approx 70 mile drive was barely lukewarm so seems to be doing its job well.

I have decided that I want to try a different car for next year. The car is due at Tuning Developments to be de-modded on the 3rd Nov so I thought I would try my luck at a sale first.
I have owned the car since new - 1 Owner 2014 April
It has 56k on the clock
    Full Toyota Service History
Under Warranty it has had the rear light cluster replaced and rear view mirror.
All modification have been carried out by Tuning Developments

    I am based in Nottingham
Car Price: 16.5k (All standard parts Manifold, Exhaust Wheels, Brakes come with the sale)

Car has been tracked although not as much as I would have liked. I have spared no expense and each modification has been thought through to ensure a balance more towards the street but with enough of an edge to great fun on track.

Bad Points: There is a slight bit of paint damage near the boot which I believe I did while taking something out of the boot.
One of the rays caps had to be cut due to the alan key bolt keeping it in place cross threading.
There is a currently a knocking on full lock to the left which I believe is cv joint, the car is going to Tuning Developments to have this corrected.

    Modifications:-
    Engine Changes:

Tuning developments Cat Back Resonated Exhaust
Tuning developments down pipe cat deletion
    Tuning developments EL Manifold
    ECU Tek remap
    Tunging Developments Oil Cooler
D1 Spec Oil Pressure Gauge via vent placement

    Gearbox:

    Powerflex shift bush
    mtec springs

    Chasis:

    BC adjustable drop links
MP20 Ohlins Coilovers (Teflon top mount bushes replaced 2 months ago)
    White line LCA's
    Powerflex Camber bolts
(1.1 neg camber all round with slight out at front and toe in at rear)

    Wheels and Brakes:-

RAYS Japan - Gram Lights 17*7
    RAYS Wheel nuts
    Porsche GT3 Brake ducts
Apracing reyland 330mm brake kit with 2500 pads
    Coswroth streetmaster rear pads
    Misc:-

    Fensport Headlight adjuster

    The car made peak 212bhp

There are a few pics below but I will add more ASAP. I wanted to make people aware it was for sale ASAP with the impending de-modification.

Update: 08/09/18 - End of year track prep
Twelve months ago myself and a few others did a couple of track days in August, of which two of those days were at Bedford Autodrome. Unfortunately the 2nd time at Bedford got cut short due to my car being black flagged for noise, at the time my exhaust consisted of ACE Manifold & AVO Non-Res Catback (More about this can be read here: http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/4097-will300s-subaru-brz-build/?page=3&tab=comments#comment-88143)
Anyway earlier this year I decided to remove my AVO exhaust and replace it with the standard cat back. The plan was to then get a track friendly custom exhaust made up over the next couple of months. Unfortunately various issue's happened over the next 6 months which meant this never happened.
Come August I realised my car needed its 5th year service, plus I'd ordered various parts which also needed fitting in preparation for the next lot of track days. I therefore decide to get everything done a the same time and finally get the custom exhaust I wanted made up.
After a couple of phone calls to various place, I decided to go with a very busy specialist who could fit all the parts, service the car and make an exhaust to match my requirements.
    My exhaust requirements consisted off:
    2.5" Catback with a Y pipe design
    2 separate back boxes
    A large center resonator
Catted front pipe with a 200cell race cat and a resonator.
Track friendly - Most important bit
Interestingly the specialist had a similar design already planned for their own car. The car was then booked in and after 3 weeks the car was ready for collection.
Here's the list of upgrades that have been installed.
    Engine and Exhaust:
Custom 2.5" Front cat pipe with Resonator
    Custom 2.5" Resonated Catback exhaust
    Hel Oil Cooler
SPA Design - Oil Temp & Oil Pressure Gauge (Block8Head guage holder)
    Cosworth Sump baffle
    Cusco Sump plug
    HEL Performance braided clutch line
    STi Engine Mounts
    Exterior:
Verus Engineering Race Splitter with end plates
Future modifications - I planned on getting these installed with the above, but due to various reason I changed my mind:
    Verus Engineering Bonnet vents
    STi Rear Brembo's
As you can see from the upgrades I had fitted alot of these will help benefit the car when on track. This should mean I can run longer stints without the car over heating. Unfortunately most of these modifications are hidden away in the engine bay, so there are no pretty pictures.
However here are some photo's of the exhaust system I had made up. I'll also get some updated photo's of the car in a couple of weeks.

I'm planning on meeting with @Deacon over the next couple of days to sound test the exhaust and possibly get a couple of videos, so expect another update soon.

As I was rapidly coming up to 5 years of ownership and the end of the manufactures warranty I decided to have a look at what else is out there and to see whether for what I want the grass is any greener elsewhere.
So I looked at the possibility of an Alfa 4C. s/h prices are getting tempting due to what appears like a steep depreciation on low mileage cars that are only a year old , e.g., Alfa 4C - but despite the beautiful looks I decided against, first because I wasn't sure it would suit being a daily driver, second because the servicing costs are high because of needing to lift out the carbon shell each time with special equipment (allegedly), but mainly because I realised I would really struggle to fit my lardy backside in it.
So then I thought Cayman. I had an hour test driving a 718 with all the extras (2016 model, so the 4 pot turbo). Oddly, despite enjoying the extra poke I didn't enjoy the car very much at all. Partly because adjusting the seat with dozens of confusing electronic adjustment options was such a pain (as was just raising and extending the steering wheel), partly because the 20" wheels it had felt awful, harsh and noisy (but mainly no more sideways on wet roundabouts!), but mainly because I'd struggle to justify the cost (and the ongoing servicing rip off prices). Yes, the sports exhaust that was fitted gave a great burble, and the engine behind your head noise was lovely, but it just didn't feel right for me (when I test drove the 86 I knew within 10 seconds I was going to do anything I could to buy it).
There were a few more cars I had considered like the Mustang, but for the tight parking spaces I often have to use it is just too big (the F-Type didn't grab me either for similar reasons).
So back to the 86. I did have the first drive of the new Blue Edition at RRG when I was ion for my service/MOT and liked it a lot (colour is better than in the pics I think, although it is a solid and not a metallic). There is a new smaller steering wheel that felt nice to use, and the uprated suspension was fantastic compared to my 2013 stock (Rich said it was firmer again than the already stiffer 2017 pro-edition) which meant that even on the unscrubbed primacy tyres it felt really planted around the cat and fiddle bends. So I did have a long hard think about a trade in on it (could have had it straight away, or with a new Sept registration, otherwise it is a 3-4 month order), but much as the handling improvement on my car was very obvious again I struggled to justify the big cost (not helped by the trade in value for a 5 y/o GT is now only £11,000, yes I would get more via private sale but would then need to overlap the purchase/sale to ensure I had a cr to use which would be difficult).
So the end result of my exploration of the grass the other side of the fence was that I am sticking with the great car that I've got already, albeit with a £549 2 year extended warranty via RRG, which includes 2 MOT's and 2 years of AA cover so something of a bargain I think). I'm also finally going to get new suspension now I know how skittish my old OEM version is over less than perfect roads, I just hope my car will forgive my recent infidelities!

Blimey, I've commented for now, not sure how easy it will be to take photos on some of these, but i'll try tomorrow
Stone chips on front - bumper was re-sprayed when I bought the car from the garage. Some minor stone chips since I've owned it.
drivers seat bolster as it looks creased - Yes there's wear on the side support of the seat as it's where you get in and out - difficult to avoid. TBH I think the guy before me was a tad larger as it's not much different since I bought it as I noticed it too!
along the sides to see if theres any car park dings - None.
do the window uprights have signs of rust also engine bay metal strip that holds the rubber - Nothing from memory, but i'll check tomorrow.
do the windows have any scratches on them from the door mechanisms - No

Been a while since my last update, nothing has changed performance wise.
However today I picked my car up from being detailed by Reep Midlands in Leicester. Car now has PPF applied to the front bumper, along with a couple of pieces on the rear bumper. G-Techniq Crystal Serum Ultra Black applied everywhere else. I also had the engine bay cleaned and front brake calipers sealed.    I ordered some new wheels a month or some ago, they are Japan Racing JR29's in Bronze, size: 17x8 +35. Fitted with Michelin PS4's.    Also fitted a new Yuasa 60Ah battery as the standard 48Ah one died on me.    Here are a couple of photo's.

Few bits and bobs happened this weekend. First off, the spoiler. @Mark-in-Stoke was kind enough to offer a hand, so between the pair of us we got the old one off. It's a nice and simple job, just 4 bolts, and a couple of locking locator pins. I was expecting it to put up a fight but it came off in less than 5 mins. Fitting the new one was just a case of cleaning up the crap on the boot lid, covering the holes with some electricians tape, and then 3M'ing it in situ. It was easy with two people, and we got a perfect fit.

The car's in at RRG this week for a 50k service. With me having the Grimmspeed intake, RRG won't be changing my air filter so I took it out for a clean/re-oil. Given how long it's been on it wasn't actually too bad, but the side facing the snorkel was considerably dirtier than the other side.

I gave it a good rinse from the inside out, soaked it in cleaner and then left it to dwell for 10 mins. Rinsed it off, gave it a brush and it came up far better:

It didn't take long to dry in the current weather, and to be double sure I blasted it out with an air cleaner. One quick, light re-oil later and it's time to let it soak in and refit:

Whilst that was soaking in I swapped out my windscreen sticker. @Dessss hooked me up with one of his lovely black glitter Antidote stickers, which I'm loving since it's near invisible until the light catches it. Very stealth, so gets my approval.

Finally, gave the car a wash since it was looking crap after the weekend storms.

Really pleased with the overall look now. Just need to sort the indicators and repeaters for smoked and I think I'll be happy.

If you can afford the Kouki model then it's a worthwhile improvement over the Zenki. The new suspension does ride bumps slightly better, the reinforcement to the chassis does reduce the NVH which is good, so it's a little bit more refined which for some makes it more appealling as a daily driver. Best bet is to try one I would say.

I sold my 86 around 11 months ago to buy a Fiesta St as I thought I needed the extra room but I have found that I could probably live with an 86 again and have not gelled as much as I thought with the ST.
So is the new model 86 worth the extra over the older model ? Looking for peoples opinions who have driven both really.I am considering a late old model but curious on the new suspension set up and how it copes with the terrible road conditions we now have.
    Cheers
