We've got a 2 lane very large roundabout near here that is deserted when I leave from work on nights......absolute bliss, the 86 was made for drifting it seems!

They will send me a copy to issue to every one so not a problem.

Good morning fellow 86 owners, I trust your all enjoying the picturesque wintery England at the moment. I'm loving the slippery surfaces to enjoy the handling of this amazing chassis. So I thought I'd share a picture I took when I got to work this morning. In case your wondering those are my new 11's left on the tarmac ahead 😊

Based South Manchester so we spend a lot of weekends driving out to the Peak District, Wales etc.  Booked a test drive at a main dealer at the weekend - yay!

My misses is exactly the same. So 1 week after getting the BRZ I chucked her behind the wheel and she loved it. If you provoke it, it will chuck the back end out but you drive normally it's fine.

Correct. A40 Supra (mk1) was essentially the MK2 Celica with a lengthened nose with a 2.6 6-cylinder.
Same happened in the MK3 Celica. They put another 2.8 straight 6 in it and that was the MK2 Supra (A60). I had a MK2 and it was awesome. I put a 4.0 V8 1UZ in mine lol
A70 Supra Mk3 was the first non-celica based car. Then we has the Mk4 A80.
I’ve had 3x A80’s. One black NA Auto Aerotop, a white na manual and a red uk spec tt auto. Awesome cars. But total boats compared to the 86.
tbh the new Supra needs to be pretty special to make me trade in my 86 for. Im finding myself drawn more towards a used LC500.
Just thought of something. Supra is back, Corolla is back, Camry is coming back... would make total sense for them to continue this classic name revival and bring the Celica back too. After all, they re-registered the Celica name patent in 2017; so they must be planning to use it.

Just went out with a commercial grade food thermometer and with the ignition on and the probe at a similar height it was reading the same, so I'm happy. Must of just been warmer than I thought all this time

I guess I'm the only one happy with how quick their 86 is.
It's slower than my last two cars, but handles so much better.

Plus, it does skids.

Another year drawing to a close and I would like to thank you all for making our club so much fun. 
Wish you all your dreams come true (whatever they are: new wheels, coilovers, turbo- or supercharger... or just another lap time records) and feel joy and happiness entire 2019!
Hope you all have a great time over the festive period and looking forward seeing you at Donington, Silverstone and many other club events and social meets next year (we'll put more in the calendar in January).

Just a quick post to say thank you to all whom have been in contact over the last 12 months with us, be it for simple questions/parts orders through to turbo kits, we appreciate each and every enquiry that comes to us.
