And it's not something you usually see on a GT86
Me thinks it's something usually suited to Ze Germans

BRZ Side Vents
Today I finally got around to fitting my BRZ side vents, personally I think they look much better as the stock GT86 ones are too plain and look like a panel for a panel sake as they are very plain with just a logo and a tiny vent. Nice and easy to fit, only tools were a screw driver and a heat gun to clear some of the glue away from the old ones.

Very pleased with the new look. It is literally a 5 minute job and well worth it:

Still sifting through tonnes of photos to try and find a set of wheels I like for this. So many to choose from and currently nothing is doing it for me. Going to keep going and I will find the right set eventually.

Finally got my brakes back after a lot of work going into them
AP Racing 6 pot fronts and Subaru STi rear Brembos finished in Renault Liquid Yellow
Not the best pictures but you get the idea!

I've had the SC since January, not fitted yet but hopefully this time home. It would be nice to add 100hp to the car for my birthday Getting a date for mapping that works for me and abbey is proving a bit difficult though since Mark is so busy and the nature of my job.
I may order a 'Flash and Go' tune from delicious tuning across the pond to tide me by till I can get down to Abbey.

New STi style front splitter and rear bumper add-ons fitted over the weekend
Courtesy of Chris @ Tarmac Sportz, great looking kit for very little cost in my opinion.
Fitment on the front splitter is spot on, the rear add-ons need a bit of extra sticky stuff to make them perfect but you can only see a very very slight gap between the add-on and the bumper if you're looking very close at them
The side skirts need to be stuck onto the car and I didn't have any stuff to do this with so will leave them for another time for the bodyshop to do

There's a part of me that likes it, that if you want more power you modify it. These cars are all about individualisation just like the AE86 is. It's good for the scene to have tuners doing things with the cars and there are tons and tons of parts available as a result. They should leave it as is and let us make it our own in our own way.

Tweedbean got a reaction from Dankool in Number plate relocation mount
I'm going to give it a go at some point as I like the clean look of no plate. I had a friend knock me something up for my mini similar to what you describe, a piece of sheet metal and a towing eye.

I'd say drop all badges, as than people will have a horrible time working out what car it is! With all badges on mine, someone still asked whether it was a Maserati?!?!
Goes to show, even though the car has been released for 3 years now, the sheer lack of knowledge from people on the road as to what it is, is amazing! Shows how rare our cars still are

Tweedbean reacted to Lauren in Heated Seat Wiring
Tbh I did worry about this. I really think it would have made more sense to simply buy a car with the leather and alcantara seats fitted. Would have saved you a lot of hassle. IMO I wouldn't have a daily without heated seats, I use them all the time, even in the summer if it's cool in the early morning. I hope you find a way to wire them up.

I don't know off the top of my head if anyone has changed them. But I find it unlikely nobody has, so i'm going to say they will be find or we would of heard something?

Baloo finally has a new skirt!
It doesn't quite match the bumpers but I knew it wouldn't anyway and until I can afford to get them painted this will do! Also had to rip up part of my stripe to fit this, but I quite like it how it is, we shall see.
