Steeps got a reaction from will300 in 20% OFF everything on www.part-box.com
I tried to order a supercharger but the specification had changed to LHD and didn't want to take the risk even though the part code was for RHD. Got any more?
Car search didn't work and once in a category it was impossible to filter either by car type or product type once you were in a category. Easiest way to find what I was looking for was to search directly e.g "GT86 brakes" or go through the brands and scroll for what I was looking for.

Drove past this location on the way to a meet (advantage of taking B roads everywhere), decided on the way back I would stop and take a photo. Lighting was spot on. Need to do something similar again with the new alloys when it's clean.

Steeps got a reaction from GT86Bob in 16 inch wheels with low profile tyres
Depending on your budget I think fitting the lightest wheel you dare would make more of a difference than specifically selecting a size

It's not just about less grip, depending on the ditchfinder they put on it could potentially have no grip and make every corner a 4 wheel drift (and in a town with many roundabouts that's quite a risk). As an example there's a corner on one of my favourite private race tracks that is rated for 60mph, even a HGV could. My old hatchback would happily roll around it at 70 no problem and the GT86 will happily hug the racing line over 80. With Nexens fitted (summer tyre) and in the dry every time I'd find the car losing both ends at 50. Every roundabout the TC would cut in because the back end was trying to swing out at 15mph. The Primacy tyre is an OEM tyre so the dealer will have no issues getting hold of it, some don't like it because it has less grip than other brands but it is a LOT better than budget tyres and more progressive with the way it allows you to push rather than making you fall off the road when it feels like it.

Considering Supagard's own literature says it has to be applied when the car is brand new and weeks/months after it won't be effective pretty much says it all, not worth the cost.
Also make sure the dealer fits a decent brand of tyre, if it's Nexen refuse to accept the keys because dealers love to put £50 ditchfinders on to save a few quid.

Steeps got a reaction from GraemeI in [Wanted] Bootlid with no spoiler
Just a heads up, as yours is a 13 plate they changed the shade of blue when a spoiler-less boot lid became available, so you won't find one the right shade of blue and OEM spoiler-less to match your car.

Steeps got a reaction from GraemeI in TSS Round 5 Cadwell Park Sun 1st October
Cadwell paddock is fairly large and laid out well, most people usually rock up in the morning and dump their stuff out where they are parking as you usually try to park in the same place in between runs. Some people bring popup tents for their kit if it's raining, I don't usually have that much on track days so a suitcase with a bin liner over the top usually does me. Don't run with anything in the car you don't need
The non-NA videos will still probably corner at the same speed if the tyres/suspension/conditions are the same, it's only the braking zones and exit gear that might need altering to your driving style.

Can't argue with that, good power gains and still quiet enough for most track days

@4500rpm static test is 89db with UEL manifold.
Gives a lovely bark when pushing on yet subtle when cruising. Certainly wouldn't struggle with trackday limits.
Thanks
Mike

Steeps got a reaction from Lauren in RAYS Locking Wheel Nuts
Only got the one sticker so I'll draw the rest on with a sharpie. Also means I can choose the colour I want
They'll be going with a set of Rays 57xtremes, the plan was to wear the current tyres down and get them refurbed and fresh rubber, but not done enough track days to do that.

No Licence in this kit, that's for you to pay for with your tuner or buy an ECUtek kit to do it yourself.
I don't need the Tune/Filter/Thermostat/Badge though as I'm already running 1.x

Still considering options and processing 1000's of photos from this weekend, right now a new laptop would be ideal but I'd need 60 sales from TSS photos and there weren't that many entries
