billdingo got a reaction from jevvy in Locking but chewed. Extremely tight
You don't want to be using a torque wrench to undo anything, if you go past it's maximum loading you may put the calibration out.

I've just taken an Ark Grip off, will be popping it up for sale next couple of days.
Sounded great, but was just too loud for me with a TD UEL manifold.

Tyres are off. Seems the GF's scales are tiny, so had to make do and balance one against my leg to stop it rolling off, but it came in at 6.4kg.
They're caked in many years of brake dust. So hopefully come out roughly the same once cleaned up and powder coated. Shame I'll lose the stickers on the inside.

I'm not sure I bought them second hand with rubber. They are bloody light tho.
Been wearing out the budget rubber that came on them over winter, going to take them off this week, as I got them pretty cheap as they all need a refurb (previous owner clearly couldn't park) so shall weigh them at the weekend once the tyres are off.

CE28's. Good choice! Now those are nice and crazily light wheels. I'm guessing about 6.5kg per wheel or so?

Sorted it, thanks billdingo.
Only minor moment of panic was when I came to test it. Screen switched over to camera as expected but all I got was this! Couldn't figure out how I'd managed to mount the camera so incredibly wrongly...
...yeah, you should always shut the boot before checking your reverse camera

The focal integrated replace the tweeters in the dash as well, so still two way.

Yeah, a few available. "Toyota universal android" seems to be the keywords to use when searching amazon / ebay / etc.

Fitted an Ark Grip a few week back, it does sound good, and I knew it would be loud. But had no idea when combined with your UEL mani, overpipe and a Cobra HFC that it would be set the neighbours car alarm off loud.
This sounds more like what I'm looking for. Imagine I'll be in touch over the next week or so to get one ordered up.

Torque Pro is what you want for Android. I think Dash Command is for iCrap devices.

For those asking about this turbo kit with a UEL manifold, it's very possible you'll have some answers within the next 6 weeks

I'm over the moon with them, the damping is set to hard as I went to the ring. On public roads with the current damping you can feel how crap uk roads are, not the most forgiving but with the dampers set to soft this may not be the case. Performance wise the car is very balanced, no body roll, what seems like endless grip as if the car was on rails. I need to increase height but you can really slam the car with these coilovers, not my cup of tea as I want function and performance. As it stands I certainly say these are a good alternative to the Teins. I've driven @rob275 and his setup is brilliant tbf. The car will become a daily from December for a while but I don't drive often during the week.
