LFA 68 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 Anyone going to Brands Hatch to watch the BTTC this weekend, or watching it on tv? Well, a while back at Silverstone a BRDC Rising Star driver, called Jake Hill, took a spin in my BRZ and you can see Jake driving BTCC this weekend at the wheel of the Rob Austin/Exocet Audi. LFA 68 Report post Posted October 16, 2013 Well the forced induction choice is made but I'd just been clearing up one engineering matter around my gauges, so didn't want to say anything. Have decided to go the Litchfield SC route and with a fair wind it will be fitted by Spa; Iain will be doing my suspension as well. Been a long wait but this has largely been due to the amount of testing that he has done, and that is very important to me. Why SC? I think it suits the car and the power delivery will be perfect for my , mostly track, usage.
Keethos 842 Report post Posted October 16, 2013 The question now is why Litchfield's SC over say Abbey's or whoevers? Don't Litchfield do different stages of tuning for the SC kit? That's a pretty quick turnaround, looking forward to hearing more about this!!!
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted October 16, 2013 Now this is getting interesting. I'd be very interested to see how Litchfield's rotrex set up delivers having driven Abbey's twin scroll set up. I'm guessing the power delivery of the rotrex will be more peaky than that of the twin screw set up. But, that could be more in keeping with the power delivery of the standard car, which may well suit it very well.

Lauren 2259 Report post Posted May 22, 2014 Not bad Ed! Nice wheels! Surprised you rate Silverstone. Though racing on it was good fun due to so much width, driving it on a trackday was a tad boring I always thought.

keelerad 256 Report post Posted May 22, 2014 That oversize sump seems a good idea to me, prefer to have plenty of oil after killing a 2ZZ-GE in my T-Sport when cornering hard.I loved the power delivery of that engine, took off at 6.2k, perfectly matched to the gearbox in Celica, take it to the redline, up a cog and just right to do it again.Alec
