We are aiming for more power but in equal measure it is about making safe power , given what I do with the car.

I'm interested to see what you will get out of it, I would like some more power but like you reliability also. Something I know Mark is very cautious of so I know i'm in safe hands!

You don't need a bigger blower , more boost and set of headers will work fine.

Guys hang on as I have said to Keethos we need to try his system on our Abbey Car before we can go any further. Hope to have this done very soon.

Steveexige your system was resonated as fitted by Abbey the noise issue with your car is the FA20 headers.

Amazing Crow, can I ask why you did speak to me the supplier before going direct to Cobra.


I did say on the initial group buy that I felt the NON Resonated system is too loud as I had run one on my car before changing to a resonated system.

I am currently driving back from France will look into more later on.

I love hte centrifugal setup. I will be gonig FI, I just dont know when, or what FI I will be using. Probably not this year that for sure.

Yes you can now tuning your own car using the ECUTEK software package and cable
 

    Cost will be £240-00 + vat (£298.80 inc vat)   We can upgrade existing cable owners cables.   I will add more information tomorrow for what you can and cant do with this software.     thanks

I always wonder why people say the above;
 
I feel if someone knows how to use a dyno a dyno is a far better piece of equipment to tune car on;
 
Can you tell if you have the cams in a right place or if the maximum advance you can run on the road will give maximum performance by tuning on the road.
 
I think when we have the next dyno day we will spend sometime on the dyno and show everyone why you need a dyno to tune these cars. 

Equal length headers, Cobra over pipe, Japspeed Sports cat , Resonated Cat back Cobra system , Blitz panel filter and Abbey ECUTEK remap;   +25 bhp at the hub gain at the top end.   +20lb/ft gain from the GT86 Torque hole.   Drives so smooth now.   torque dip gone , dyno plot is against a stock car from the dyno day.       Will have some prices on the headers very soon.   I have also spent some more time on the starting noise issues , we can now totally remove the cat warming calibration. Car starts and idles lovely.   Yes we have fitted a Sports cat in the 2nd cat postion   But as Steve says we can supply the header with a CAT as well.   Prices to follow soon;
