    On related topic
I had KSports kit now for over 1.5yrs, 10k road miles, dozen or so track days (plus carlimits, pistonheads at Silverstone and even an action day). Used ECB Yellowstuff pads, now on Bluestuff.
After replacing pads before the last track day at Brands ended up with fairly noticeable vibration under heavy braking (particularly into the Paddock Hill bend from 115+ mph). Probably have not bedded pads properly so now a bit of pad material residue on the disks that does not come off (tried couple times on the m-way to re-bed), so the disks need to be skimmed.
The disks themselves show decent amount of wear, probably more than I would expect, but then I do overbrake so for others they could last longer. This said I expect they should last at least another year, which would take them to 15+k miles and about 20 track days in total.
I had a quick look at price for new 356mm disks  - Raylands (J-hook style) would do them for £295, MTEC replacement (grooved) will be £290, KSports original disks from GSM Performance (grooved) £387.
I also don't think pads prices are materially different, I have previously confirmed that the pad size is the same as for one of AP calipers and then doing quick google compare it was not that much of a difference. I did like Yellowstuff, although the way I drive they last about 6-7 track days, but they are quiet and very good from cold, not too dusty either. I am yet to form my opinion of Bluestuff but they are certainly better when hot, ok from cold, but dustier, and I expect they would be wearing disks faster as well.

I also lost 2 front centrecaps for my OZ wheels,
have come to the conclusion that my front wheels heated up and expanded causing the caps to pop out.

    Try Rich at RRG Macclesfield....

... or nick one off a showroom forecourt...

( I use Bluetack - when the brake and rim gets hot the centre expands and the cap pops off... I've lost five 'Rota' caps...)

I installed a set of these a week or so ago and have to say I am very impressed and pleased with both the drop, handling and comfort level. Also for those worried about them being "too low", don't be put off, I have easily gotten over some pretty nasty looking speed bumps. Cornering has been noticeably improved, the car does not lean as much as it did on the OEM springs. They are just as comfortable over the majority of surfaces, as you would expect if you do hit a pothole you will feel it but that is the same with all uprated springs.
All in all... very happy I went for these rather than the 25mm springs which (to me) don't really give the appearance I would like.

In case anyone is interested there will be a few of us meeting at Beaconsfield Services (HP9 2SE) on the M40.
We'll be leaving here at 8am to get to Silverstone for 9am.
I'll be travelling up from Brighton, West Sussex at 6am if anyone wants to meet along the way.

Yes an armrest is a very worthwhile addition to the interior and its so easy to fit. Michelin primacies for fun slips and yokos for fun grips when it comes to tyres too.

Nice looking red paint. Is the side stripes standard fit? I've never seen the GT86 logo in white before.
I bought mine from Gatwick motor line over a year ago, very good dealership. Hopefully if they are changing the pads and discs you won't get the characteristic brake squeal that tends to come from the factory.

I loved our car the moment I saw it, and love it more after each modification.  Had it nearly six years and don't expect to sell it until I can't get in it anymore (being an OAP).  If you buy one of these just to keep it for a few years and move on to something else you will likely take a hit.  I will never get back the money for the modifications undertaken, and never expected to, but the joy of this expensive hobby comes at a cost that I am willing to pay.
The enjoyment I get from just going for a drive in this car is difficult to express in monetary terms.  😊

Good morning fellow 86 owners, I trust your all enjoying the picturesque wintery England at the moment. I'm loving the slippery surfaces to enjoy the handling of this amazing chassis. So I thought I'd share a picture I took when I got to work this morning. In case your wondering those are my new 11's left on the tarmac ahead 😊

Great choice @SimonG68 liking the colour. Is this your first sports car or had you owned a few now? How are you finding the 86 in the cold damp climate so far?

Interesting thread as I am in the same boat. GT86 for me is also a road car with a few track days a year. Run Ebaich springs and stock dampers at present which I am happy with but after the last few track days and going out on circuit in other peoples 86's with coilovers there is a noticeable improvement in the damping so I think I will head that way myself.

@George from my bum dyno testing the Teins on a gt86 feel as close as you can get to stock suspension ride wise. If not slightly better. I also come from a Honda background and can confirm they ride a lot smoother and softer then the Miester R and HSD monopros I had on my EP3 over its life time.

Also I would be impressed if anyone is having trouble with RBF fluid in a NA GT86 on track. I just use a good quality fluid and change it often and have had zero trouble
