If built and looked after properley its more likely to be reliable on a daily/high mileage car than one that does low but lots of hard/track miles, only thing to watch for is cooling down a turbo before switching off engine if you have had spirited run out,  this just means sitting with it idling for a minute or two before switching off car if its just been used hard to allow turbo to cool and stop it cooking the oil, otherwise no issues and likewise no issue like that with a supercharger, although i tend to anyhows due to years of turbo cars and with my current cosworth charged 86 i try and do last few miles before getting to my destination very sedate to let all temps cool and then i can just switch it off.
Im doing nearly 1k miles a month in my car since buying in April and had no issues, previous owner did about 5k miles in 2 years i think but lots of that was track and never had an issue, a well built and well setup/mapped charged car should give no issues if treated/serviced accordingly.

RBF600 is where I usually start and if kept fresh with a quick bleed before each track outing is usually good enough, Castrol SRF is the best as said above and the wet boiling point (much more important than people think due to fluid absorbing water as soon bottle seal is opened) is leagues ahead of anything else as you can see on above, its not cheap but not stupid money and way better than loosing pedal on track.
 
My advice would be to start with fresh RBF600 and if that doesn't keep pedal firm change to the SRF, if you boil that then learn how to drive!

Best upgrade ive made on mine. Better than the cossy SC, better than the AP racing brakes. They are literally gold. 
To anyone interested these have a huge adjustment range of damping. Roughly 300% on the low/medium speed damping. What this means is at -20clicks full soft they are not over damped on those soft spring rates, but crank them to -5clicks and they are about 50% of critical damping on 8kg springs.
So you have the option of fitting 8-9kg springs with some solid topmounts like raceeng and this would be a proper trackday setup suited to a good semi slick like the Dunlop DZ03s.

I will let you know once its off  , not bad though from what ive seen as everything is very well thought out,  so far after 2 hours or so on it last night i had the cooling system drained and removed, most of wiring unplugged and now just fuel lines to disconnect and its ready to unbolt/lift off then swap over to stock setup.

I bought mine used on fleabay nearly 2 years ago so I am sure it will be an old design. Never put it on as I am not sure if I want the extra noise. Should give it a go really as it is not a hard job to swap over
