Neal 111 Report post Posted July 8, 2017 Purely because my organisational ocd is starting to kick in with the drive being a week away.  How many drivers are planning to turn up (do we need more then 1 group of cars if so we might need a second group  leader) and how many stopping for breakfast (so I can let the yonderman know rough numbers) Drive meets at 5am 16th July at rrg Macclesfield. Map details at the bottom of page 1. Attendees 1) Neal and Claire (maybe in both cars) 2) @Lauren+indy? 3) @lewisw 4) 5) +
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted July 9, 2017 Just me on this one, Indy doesn't like going quickly. Brekkie for me please. Â

Lauren 2259 Report post Posted July 12, 2017 I've added the time and details to your first post, Neal and added RRG's address just in case! I must say the route looks good. There's a fair amount of that I know and some of it very well.
Neal 111 Report post Posted July 12, 2017 Fab @Lauren. You might be able to lead some of it then. That way you can have a play and ease off when you're ready for us to join you again. Also Claires a little embarrassed to ask you for a passenger ride to learn from you. @lewisw. No problem pm me your number and I'll keep you posted on our progress. At the moment it looks like the 4 of us so I might add a few more miles in as we may as well make the most.  1 Mike reacted to this
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted July 12, 2017 I'm quite happy to have Claire ride with me. No problem. I'm sure I can add the route into my sat nav too. That would help, but certainly the first leg I know well enough.
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted July 15, 2017 Okay, suffering from some cold all day has wiped me out. But obviously I am not going to let such trivia bother me. So I'm going to take advantage of feeling like shite and have an early night. Fingers crossed I'll be okay in the morning. If I take a turn for the worse at 4am, I will let you guys know. I will do my best to make it though. Â
Neal 111 Report post Posted July 15, 2017 Proper trooper Lauren. As it looks like very small numbers I'm looking at adding an extra 50 miles otherwise we will be very early for breakfast.

Neal 111 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 Anyone wanting to join us for breakfast this morning we will be at the yonderman at just gone 8am. Not to late to jump on the drive either.
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 I'm really gutted I couldn't make it this morning. The some kind of lurgy I contracted that floored me yesterday meant that even with an early night I knew by 1am that I was in big trouble. Gutted though as I was up at 4am, just in case things got better. They didn't. I would have gone over 100K miles in my car this morning and what a fitting way that would be to do it. Sort of a celebration of driving. But the bloody lurgy got in the way. Hope you have a wicked time guys.
Neal 111 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 Had a great drive out this morning couple of slight issues with my GPS.  And Macclesfield mcdonalds but otherwise great roads mostly empty. Dry for most of the route with rain at the end through Castleton. Stopped half way for a mini photo shoot to Will probably organise a similar event for September as there is no Tss. 3 Lauren, Ccolleavy and Keethos reacted to this
