Ztox 230 Report post Posted July 2, 2017 That stretch looks sick bruv! Looks spot on with 215s
Cerastes 204 Report post Posted July 2, 2017 Aww thanks.. I'm still going 225, still bit of a stretch but not by much. Unless 215's are cheaper but at the moment the 225's are still cheapest. Cleaned and then had a go at a large stone chip Before After (in case it wasn't obvious )
Ztox 230 Report post Posted July 3, 2017 Yea I'm glad you pointed out which one was before/after Nice effort though, must be almost invisible to those that don't know it's there now 1 Cerastes reacted to this

Nicebiscuit 655 Report post Posted July 4, 2017 Is that a 'real' TRD wing on that or a clone? It looks good. I might have to invest in one of those, not least as it'll hide the ding some muppet has put in the top of my bootlid :-( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jimmyjimmyjimmy_ 32 Report post Posted July 10, 2017 Looks good, what did you use to cover up the stone chip?

I assume it's real, I bought the car with it already on. 2 hours ago, jimmyjimmyjimmy_ said: Looks good, what did you use to cover up the stone chip? I used chipex. Cerastes 204 Report post Posted July 10, 2017 Quick clean after my first ever TSS; which was so fun. Added some stickers provided by @GT86Jay Made me chuckle when I first saw it, hopefully it will make someone else giggle when they see it as I drive by, make the world a little bit happier. A nice pic taken from TSS at Kendrew.
Nimz 70 Report post Posted July 10, 2017 Loving the wheels mate, suit it perfectly. Do you know who owns the centre car in the pic above?

Cerastes 204 Report post Posted July 10, 2017 Thanks @Nimz real pain to clean though. I'm waiting on the amazon sale for a cheap wheel brush, as the one I have doesn't quite fit in between the spokes. I just realised we could have made that car picture better, we had 2 whites, 2 reds, 2 oranges and 1 blue. We could have put them symmetrical. Missed opportunity. Cerastes 204 Report post Posted July 17, 2017 With this hot weather I was finding it unbearable getting into the car, so thought I would get the back windows tinted. Also add a bit more black/dark colours to it. Can't really see them that well in the pics I have taken, cleaned it and it's too shiny to see in the pics. Ccolleavy 1 Report post Posted July 17, 2017 Loving the car mate! Them wheels are stunning as well. How rare are the full leather seats in the 86's, only ever seen a few. 1 Cerastes reacted to this

You do slide about on the leather seats though; but then I do keep cleaning them so makes them really slippery 3 hours ago, Stutopia said: That red paint looks dripping wet, gorgeous. It probably is, I had just cleaned it, clayed it and polished it. 1 Ccolleavy reacted to this
Cerastes 204 Report post Posted July 18, 2017 Fancy stickers I had to trim the avengers down due to the awkward shape of the rear quarter, may have cut a bit too much off the hulk than I should have done. He might get angry now! The lovely turbo snail provided by @GT86Jay. I guess I have to get a turbo now.
Cerastes 204 Report post Posted July 23, 2017 Matt Black badges added (finally); has been a real struggle getting hold of a cheapish set. I had a go at Plastidipping the front before, it didn't go very well; it ended up all furry. Tried to order a set of front and back badges through ebay but the ebay website kept saying the payment could not be accepted so I contacted the seller on Ebay to find out why it wouldn't go through; they sent a suspect looking email back. So thought I would try to order another "cheapish" set off amazon. Ordered them from a trader on Amazon, they were were meant to arrive within about a month, they never came and then the delivery dates got changed when they didn't arrive... After just over a month I put a claim into Amazon as the seller/trader never contacted me back; Amazon accepted my claim and refunded me my £££'s back to my account, I believe the seller has now been taken off Amazon although the same badges are still on the amazon website but from loads of different traders so be warned. Tried ordering the ebay badges again just to see if it would work this time as I was getting desperate. This time it went through with the same seller I contacted months ago and I was ready to start getting emails typed up to ebay help etc just in case they didn't arrive, but they did. Not sure what to do with the GT86 badge though, either remove it completely or have another go at plastidipping that.
Cerastes 204 Report post Posted August 27, 2017 Finally got around to some of the other many stone chips. I really wanted the roof one to be done as I see it every time I get in the car. Here some pics, any thoughts or questions ask away . Unfortunately I forgot to take a before picture of the roof chip, but you can see from the third pic it was quite big compared to my finger. 2nd Stage. Completed. Next 2 I focused on were on the front, there were a few others in the same area that you can see in the pic but the paint hasn't chipped away. So many on the front but probably from being so close to the ground. Also there were 2 on the other side in very similar places
Stutopia 158 Report post Posted August 27, 2017 Nice job, it's easy to jam paint in, but stopping them standing out a mile isn't.
Cerastes 204 Report post Posted August 28, 2017 Thanks. They can still be seen but you have to be looking for them. The ones done by the previous owner are starting to show so not sure what to do about them, I guess I can try to touch them up?
Stutopia 158 Report post Posted August 28, 2017 Mine were cackhanded, built up quite a bit proud of the paint. The recent DA session reduced this and their visual impact.
Cerastes 204 Report post Posted November 21, 2017 It has been a while; main little change is the Tein Flex A's. Some pics of the car (couple days) after wash with the flex A's on.
