I like the idea of it, will be a pita for some initially but long term a good way of viewing bigger projects.

I have the Cusco arms as I got them at a great price second hand and like the rubber boot that protects the rose joint, been fitted for 6-7K on my car including 2 track days and they make no noise or show any signs of wear.
I bought some Japspeed adjustable drop links and the quality was awful, the rose joints lasted a matter of weeks, I wouldn't trust their LCA's personally.
I would have gone spl or velox if the Cusco ones hadn't shown up in the classifieds.

Interested in the injen, will wait for some pics as they make a couple.

Sounds nuts, do you still have second cat?

Welcome along, I'm in Cranleigh so not too far from Guildford either.

@smudge No worries, I want to retrim them so the value is not there for me sadly. Happy to pay £300 if you don't find someone else, GLWS.

@Willtl The noise generator is taken from the intake so the exhaust should have no impact. To block it there is a cap/plug covering the 12v socket in the glovebox that perfectly blocks the sound generator hole behind the pedals.

That looks incredible Rob.

2 hours ago, Rich said:I have some combined spigot rings with centre caps, in aluminium, that I got from the US forum. Only available for my wheels unfortunately.
Do you have a link Rich? They would probably work for my Work's

Just now, Mike said:How would they know? Unless it's because you'll have more years NCD than you've had your license for, in which case, I've yet to have an issue!
Essentially I had my licence for lets say 3 years 8 months but had 4 years ncb at the time of renewal, as I had used an accelerator policy for 2 years.
Could see it being fine if you had a claim or didn't insure a car for a while to help build it up a bit quicker, but for me it left me the choice of sticking with a 10 month policy, which had suddenly got very expensive (£400 more than a normal 12 month policy elsewhere), waiting 4 months to renew or loosing a years ncb with a new insurer. I took the latter as it actually worked out about the same price as sticking with the 10 month policy, but meant I was back to having more licence time than ncb. It still cost me about £400 extra that year to sort it out.
-
Be careful with the 10 month policies, I had one for a couple of years and then really struggled to find another insurer who would accept the "bonus" years and I ended up loosing 1 years ncb when I switched to a new company. Its a long and boring story, just be aware basically every company who doesn't offer a 10 month policy probably wont accept a 10 month bonus year as a full years ncb. I will add this was 3/4 years ago, so it may have changed.

I got mine at 23 and used sheilaswheels, 6 years ncb with my dad on the policy was just over £350. One of the big UK underwriters won't insure under 25's on the car at all, including some of the "specialists".
Good luck.
