Winterhalder 10 Report post Posted December 6, 2018 I've been looking to replace my stock wheels for sometime. Everytime I do research I'm getting confused in the options. I'll just post my questions! (thanks) Where to buy them from? wheelbasealloys.com for example What size are my stock wheels? 17/?? Can I fit 18" wheels as I'm reading there could be restrictions I'm undecided on colour and considering dark/black, but probably not gloss I'm undecided on spoke pattern, but want them to fit the style of the car If I buy the wheels and tyres from the same place, will they assemble and balance them? Is there anything I should be aware of when fitting them to my car? Which brand? Are Konig OK What I do know is: I want Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres I want wheels with a circular ring (red, or yellow) like http://s2.photobucket.com/user/Deacon666/media/20130702_182848_Hagrid_Film.jpg.html I want wheels to look more flush to the car (wider, or offset) My budget is £400-800 not including tyres I don't intend to lower or camber (unless really advised) This is for daily driving with a little track use through the year Thanks so much! KevinA 695 Report post Posted December 6, 2018 In terms of size you best go for 17 x 8 or 18 x 8 et35 these will sit flush, the brand is down to what you like to see. There are many places to buy them, maybe just google GT86 Alloys and you will see shed loads of them.

Loads of choices for where depending on the wheels you settle on - wheelbase, demon tweeks, Amber Performance, etc 2. Stock are 17x7" et48 3. 18's will fit fine 4 & 5. These are just personal choice really, Google ones you like and see if there are pictures fitted to an 86/brz/frs 6. Some places will fit and balance, some won't just depends where you buy from 7. Not really. Just make sure you have the right bolt pattern and centre bore / necessary spigot rings (most places will supply these anyway) 8. Brand will come down to the style you want. Konig are fine. The wheels you've pictured were mine. They are some of the only ones with a ring on - you'll limit you're choice a lot if that's a must have. A 17x8 or 18x8 et35 is a good suggestion for a more flush look but you will need to lower it really for it to look properly decent. 1 Burtie178 reacted to this
