smudge 1020 Report post Posted October 29, 2015 Random question, but this is mainly for the turbo/supercharged boys so @Special K @rob275 @mike-p @hashiriya and anyone else I've missedHow much fuel do you use just purely on track at a sprint? The last round I did was Rockingham 2014 so I really have no idea

Lauren 2259 Report post Posted October 29, 2015 I know I'm stock, but I use around a quarter of a tank of fuel. Not much really. Half a tank would be plenty.

The last round I did was Rockingham 2014 so I really have no idea I reckon to use about half a tank at somwhere like Blyton. On a trackday I average 8-9mpgSpec K 1 smudge reacted to this
mike-p 116 Report post Posted October 31, 2015 At Sprints less than half a tank, track days about the same as Keith i.e. 8-9 mpg. 1 smudge reacted to this

smudge 1020 Report post Posted October 31, 2015 Smudge, How's you mpg with the.uno fandango super charger bolted on normal and foot down?Shit lol but that's mainly because I'm so up and down the rev range while the engine is still being run in
smudge 1020 Report post Posted October 31, 2015 Although saying that I've just done 212miles and I've got just over 1/4 tank left
Special K 442 Report post Posted October 31, 2015 Smudge,It seems to me that you are giving it too much welly if your tank will only do 280-odd miles on the road. Can you not modify the engine map for road use, as us turbo boys can? Makes a big difference for me.Spec K
Kodename47 446 Report post Posted October 31, 2015 Can you not modify the engine map for road use, as us turbo boys can? Makes a big difference for me.You can't turn down boost via the map, that relies on the right foot and Smudge has a heavy one.On closed loop operation, the ECU always targets 14.7:1 AFR. That can't really be adjusted.

As before, depends on how heavy your right foot is as you'll go open loop whenever you get a bit heavy and then the fuel map takes over.
