Rubbish..... it's fun/testing!

The v105s will give you more grip than the Primacys.

Small update:

Fitted 4 Yoko Advan v105 - car handling is transformed!

By transformed do you mean just way more grip?

This is what I'm after because right now supercharger + primacies + winter = quite dangerous.

Yes way more grip. Only sliding when I want to. More composed in the wet, more steering weight/feedback.

Haha that's how I've seen it up until now, but it's getting a bit silly now, TRC is constantly involved on my drive through country lanes to work when I'm running late.

I also got to (unintentionally) experience toyota's anti spin safety system - it's quite violent (span me back round the other way!!) but an impressive bit of technology.

They shouldn't do and it won't have a negative impact on running as it just polls the Canbus. Plus this can clear codes in the ECU anyway ;)

It's not so much the readers, but Torque does cause a CEL every so often. I think the ECU logs when they're connected as well, can't remember what Gary said now...

Yes that's the one. I am messing about with fitting locations at the moment:

Also looking to see if I can hack it to measure Toyota specific PIDs

Be careful what you do with those gadgets, they leave multiple error codes in the ECUs.

Thanks Rich Haven't seen any codes but will keep a careful eye on it. It reads only. Can clear DTC but don't intend to use that feature

Not sure which location works best. Currently messing with bluetac. All wires will be hidden.

Where should it live?

Another thought - I have my phone mount (used for nav etc) on top of the dashboard just above the vent there. There's a spot where it doesn't actually block any vision just your view of the pillar.

I had it mounted by the vent before and it annoyed because I either lost use of the vent or it was blasting hot/cold air at my phone.

The obd2 device died after a couple of days due to a broken connection point. In now working on MK2 using an old andoird phone. Still trying to work out mounting. Used a cool bit of software to automate unlocking the phone and booting Dashcommand up when the car starts.

Using a magnetic mount so I can remove when parking up etc. Works great!
